Nearly All Articles Pass at 2014 Medfield Town Meeting

Voters at Medfield's annual Town Meeting on Monday passed nearly all the articles on this year's warrant, save one, according to Medfield Board of Selectmen Osler "Pete" Peterson's Medfield02052 blog. 

The one article that did not pass proposed the adoption of a stretch energy code, according to the report. The adoption of the stretch would have brought Medfield closer to being designated a "green community" and qualifying for a grant of up to $148,000.

The Medfield Cultural Council, meanwhile, received a first-time budget of $4,250, according to Peterson's blog, and three articles were dismissed at the meeting.
