Editor's note: Information submitted by MHS teacher Richard DeSorgher.

students recently attended the Harvard Model Congress and took public transportation to the Convention, held in the Boston Sheraton
Complex at the Prudential Center.

Over 1,400 students from around the country took part in the model congress run by Harvard University. Students role-played the part of senators and representatives, researched and debated current issues, prepared bills, attended hearings and took part in all the political activities of an elected official.

Students taking part in the four-day congress were students in Medfield High School teacher Richard DeSorgher's political science classes.
