Medfield's Tax Rate Increases 70 Cents

Medfield’s tax rate was certified Tuesday morning at $15.73 per thousand dollars of valuation. 

That rate is up from $15.03 last year, however, town officials noted house values are down, keeping the increase less than 2 ½ percent. 

Tax bills will also include the assessment from the . Town Administrator Michael Sullivan said tax bills will be sent out by Dec. 31. “The assessors will include a sheet in with the tax bill” to explain the breakdown, he said.
