Medfield's Cemetery Fees to Increase on June 1

For the first time in eight years, the town will see an increase in its cemetery fees.

Medfield's Cemetery Commission voted unanimously at its May 8th meeting to increase cemetery fees $500 per grave, effective Friday, June 1. Costs per grave will increase from $1,000 in 2011 to $1,500 in 2012. Grave openings will cost $500 in 2012 and Saturday interment will cost $300.
