Medfield Restaurants Pass Health Inspection

No restaurants were found in violation of the health code, according to inspection reports from the Medfield Board of Health this month.

All food establishments in Medfield are in compliance with health codes according to the Board of Health inspection. The inspector made note of several restaurants in the town.

 

  • American Legion had zero violations. The inspector noted the freezer was at zero degrees, the refridgerator was clean, but the milk was out of date. The inspector did note however, that training for all employees who handled food is good.
  • Basil Restaurant had zero violations. The inspector noted that the ice scoops can’t be in ice. Everything was wrapped properly, however, the dessert area fridge was at 34 degrees.
  • Blue Moon Bagel Café had zero violations. The cream cheese and pastries all had proper dates, employees are wearing gloves. The walk-in refrigerator was at 31 degrees, but the Blue Moon staff was reminded that the soda and water needed to be six inches off the floor.
  • Bullards Wine and Spirit had no violations. However, out of date pretzels were removed. Everything else was in date.
  • Casabella Pizza had zero violations. The inspector noted employees were wearing gloves, the fridge was at a proper temperature and very clean and everything was more than six inches off the floor.
  • Cumberland Farms had no violations. The store was clean according to inspector Sue Elliot, the candy and egg dates were all current.
  • CVS had no violations. Everything was clean and employees were wearing gloves. The fridge was at 38 degrees.
  • Go Fresh Pizza had no violations. Everything was covered in the fridge, according to the inspector, employees were wearing gloves and the freezer and fridge were operating at proper temperatures.
  • Goddard School had no violations. The kitchen was clean, everything was covered in the fridge, and all food products were six inches off the floor.
