Demolition Continues at Medfield State Hospital [PHOTOS]

State contractors continue to dismantle the Clark Building.

 

As part of the demolition process, all bricks have now been removed from the Clark Building at the former Medfield State Hospital. 

The state has been working slowly but surely over the last few months to dismantle and utlimately remove the circa 1958 building from the property.

Town officials say the removal of that building will give access to a "scenic vista" on the property and could increase its resale value. 

The removal project is reported to cost the state $2 million.
