Board of Selectmen to Discuss State Hospital Town Bylaws; Medfield Green Presentation

Here's a preview of what is expected to be discussed at Tuesday's Board of Selectmen meeting.

The Medfield Board of Selectmen will hold its first meeting of April Tuesday night in the Chenery Meeting Room on the second floor of Town Hall at 7 p.m. 

Among the topics expected to be discussed by the Selectmen are:

  • Town Counsel Mark Cerel will discuss his role in reviewing Town Bylaws pertaining to the site of the former Medfield State Hospital. 
  • A presention from Marie Nolan, the Medfield Green Committee chair and consultant Leiran Biton.  
  • The Selectmen will vote to declare April 25 as Medfield High School Jazz Band Day in recognition of their recent accomplishment of winning the Charles Mingus Jazz Band competition in New York City. 

The Board of Selectmen meetings are open to the public.
