AGENDA: Medfield Board of Selectmen to Discuss Use of Site on Ice House Rd

The Medfield Board of Selectmen will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. on the second floor of Town Hall.

The Medfield Board of Selectmen will hear a presentation and discuss the proposed indoor sports facility site on land owned by the town at Ice House Road. 

Attorneys Neil Roche and Robert Borrelli will present their proposal for the use of the 2.8 acre site on Ice House Road and the selectmen will discuss the proposal.

The selectmen will discuss and vote on calling for a special election at the request of the Medfield Housing Authority to fill the vacancy on their board and also request applicants to submit letters of interest to the Board of Selectmen. Department of Public Works Superintendent, Kenneth Feeney has requested the selectmen sign the Chapter 90 Project Request forms regarding cold plane, overlay, traffic markings for the following: Dale Street, Spring Street, Adams Street, West Street, High Street and South Street. 

The selectmen are also expected to appoint the Town Bylaw Review Committee; vote to approve June 7, 2011 meeting minutes; and vote to approve the following licenses and permits: children's librarian Ann Russo requests permission to use the town Gazebo on Saturday, June 25 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for their summer reading kick-off event.
