5 Things: Affordable Housing 40B Hearing, School Committee Meeting, 8th Grade Closing Ceremony, and more

Here's a look at the day ahead for Monday, June 18.

Today's Forecast: Monday’s weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, should be mostly sunny.  High near 72.  Calm wind between 4 and 7 mph. Monday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 54. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm. 

Meetings at 

  • The Board of Appeals will meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Chenery Room, second floor, for a continuation of the hearing on The Parc at Medfield affordable housing project.  Click here for agenda.  
  • The Medfield Public Library Board of Trustees will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in the library.  Click here for agenda.
  • The Medfield Lyme Disease Study Committee will meet tonight at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Warrant Committee Room, first floor.  Click here for agenda.

  • Final Exam Study Night – The library will be staying open until 10 p.m. for students who want to come get their studying done. Snacks will be served throughout the evening and pizza will be available each night at 6:30 pm. We will have areas for small and large group study or, if you are looking to eliminate distraction, quiet areas for independent study. 

School Events: 

  • 8th Grade Closing Ceremony – The Class of 2016 will hold its 8th Grade Closing Ceremony tonight at 7 p.m. in the Amos Clark Kingsbury High School.

The Medfield Food Cupboard: The , , , and the  are taking collections to help the Medfield Food Cupboard. The Medfield Food Cupboard needs the following items for June: Jelly (no grape please), juice (bottles and boxes), cereal, pasta sauce, canned pears, and snacks, but will gladly accept other non-perishable items. Please drop off these items at your local church any Sunday.
