Woman Gets Herself Arrested After Calling Cops on People Waiting Outside Restaurant

Saturday, Feb. 23

2:41 a.m., Blacksmith Drive. Caller reported a strange truck parked in front of his neighbor's house. Gone on arrival.

3:18 a.m., Prentiss Place. Caller reported the smell of wires burning. All was clear.

9:12 a.m., Rocky Lane. Alarm company reports a burglar alarm. Alarm company cancelled.

10:05 a.m., Green Street. Caller reported smoke detectors were going off, likely due to cooking. Medfield Fire says it is a faulty smoke detector.

11:07 a.m., Vine Brook Road. Alarm company reports a burglar alarm. Alarm company cancelled.

3:49 p.m., Martingale Lane. Caller reported three large dogs in his backyard. No Animal Control Officer on call. Man said the dogs left.

5:45 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's Church.

6:07 p.m., Noon Hill Road. Alarm went off indicating an open garage door. Police found two dogs in the house; they searched the house but found nothing. Secured the door. 

6:47 p.m., North Meadows Road. A Sherborn resident named Sheila Quellette was at a restaurant on North Meadows Road. She said there are two females and one male outside who were kicked out of the restaurant an hour ago. Caller is afraid they are waiting for her. Police discovered the group was "just standing out not doing anything." At 7:01 p.m., Quellette called back and asked the police to return. Police then arrested Sheila Quellette, 50, of 193 South Main Street, Sherborn, and charged her with disturbing the peace, assault and battery on a police officer, and resisting arrest. 

11:02 p.m., Lowell Mason Road. Alarm company says burglary alarm was activated. Police hand checked the area and no fresh footprints were present in the snow. Clear.
