Water Pouring Out of House on Oriole Road, Dogs Barking and Sitting in Cars, and More

Here's a glance at the Medfield safety log from Jan. 24 and Jan. 25.

Thursday, Jan. 24

2:24 a.m., Donnelly Drive. Caller said there is a dog that has been barking for a while. Desk Officer called the house, and police said the dog is inside now. 

4:31 a.m., High Street. E911 caller said somebody is knocking on the window. Police spoke with the caller and checked the area but there was no one around. She will call back if it happens again.

5:51 a.m., South Street. Traffic enforcement at South Street and Curve Street. Police issued one verbal warning.

6:29 a.m., North Street. Caller reported a disabled motor vehicle near Pine Street. AAA is on the way.

7:49 a.m., Bridge Street. Traffic enforcement at Bridge Street and Dale Street. 

8:01 a.m., South Street. E911 caller reported a motor vehicle accident -- 2007 Toyota Highlander and 2009 Toyota Rav4 -- at Route 27 with property damage but no personal injury. 

8:08 a.m., Oriole Road. Caller reported an alarm going off at a neighbor's house with water coming out of the house. Appropriate parties were notified. 

10:12 a.m., Ice House Road. E911 request for an ambulance at The Center at Medfield. No transport needed.

1:14 p.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported someone working on North Meadows Road using his identification.

1:41 p.m., North Street. A private investigator was into the station to say he would be working in town today.

2:50 p.m., Fox Lane. E911 request for a fall victim. Medfield ambulance transported patient to Natick Hospital.

5:17 p.m., Lowell Mason Road. Walk in report of a carbon monoxide alarm was sounding at her house. Police and Fire departments discovered it was a faulty detector. 

5:19 p.m., North Street. A man said he fell at the police shooting range this morning, was injured and received five stitches.

5:52 p.m., North Street. Caller said his water is not working in his house. Water Department was notified.

6:35 p.m., Main Street. Received two calls reporting two cars -- 2002 Kia Optima and 1997 Buick Skylark -- on the side of the road near Shaw's. Police discovered one was disabled and the other was assisting. 

Friday, Jan. 25

6:49 a.m., North Street. A private investigator was into the station to say he would be working in town today.

8:15 a.m., South Street and Elm Street. Traffic enforcement, no violations.

10:02 a.m., Pound Street. Misdialed 911 call from Blake Middle School. Confirmed accidental.

10:41 a.m., Miller Street. Caller requested funeral home escort from Miller Street to Vine Lake Cemetery. 

10:48 a.m., Janes Avenue. Caller reported a dog had been sitting in a blue Suburban for about two hours. Animal Control checked on the dog, no problem with it.

10:48 a.m., Main Street. Walk-in report of a dead animal on the side of the road near 360 Main Street. Animal Control notified.

10:49 a.m., North Street. Norwood Police posted a BOLO about a breaking and entering in their town at Fulton Street and Prospect Avenue; thieves took a flat screen television. Looking for two white males in their 20s. 

11:32 a.m., Flint Locke Lane. Caller reported a front door open and a dog inside. Police found all was in order and they secured the front door.
