Wednesday, May 29

6:50 a.m., Bridge Street and Dale Street. Traffic enforcement. No citations issued.

12:04 p.m., Frairy Street. E911 caller "repeat calling for help." Several police and fire personnel were on standby. No problem found in the area.

12:24 p.m., West Mill Street. Caller reported some copper stolen from his business.

3:16 p.m., High Street. A detail officer said a motorist stopped to tell her a big turtle was in the road.

3:53 p.m., North Meadows Road. E911 caller reported gravel on North Meadows Road and West Street. DPW was notified.

4:11 p.m., Rhododendron Avenue. Dedham District Court faxed over a restraining order to be served. No one home.

4:18 p.m., Nauset Street. Dedham District Court faxed over a harassment prevention order. 

5:20 p.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a rooster walking around on North Meadows Road by the Sherborn line in the woods on the path. Animal Control will be notified in the morning.

5:28 p.m., Wilkens Glen Road. Caller reported a family disturbance. Police and fire personnel responded. Police gained access to the building and found a woman who lives there by herself.

5:29 p.m., Main Street. E911 caller reported a large turtle crossing Main Street by the Millis line. At 5:46 p.m., police said it as gone when they arrived.

Thursday, May 30

1:14 a.m., Main and Pound Streets. Caller said he hit a tree in his 1996 Jeep Laredo. His car was towed and police gave him a ride home.

7:29 a.m., North Meadows Road. Animal Control was told about the roosters loose on North Meadows Road. 

8:04 a.m., Eastmont Road. Caller reported two girls, approximately six years old, walking alone on Causeway Street near Noon Hill. Police found the girls walking near South Street. Attempts were made to contact the mother. Messages were left on the home and cell phones. A vehicle was in the driveway but police were not able to make contact. Eventually, the mother was located and walke the girls to school. 

9:10 a.m., North Street. Caller was locked out of her car with her daughter inside.

12:35 p.m., North Street. Police and Fire personnel responded to the Montrose School where one student was having a reaction in the Cafe, and a second girl had passed out (she was awake but slow in responding). Millis and Westwood ambulances were notified. The students were taken to Norwood Hospital.

1:17 p.m., South Street. Bus driver requested help with traffic; he needs to back up into the grist mill and feels it is unsafe.

1:29 p.m., Rhododendron Drive. Served a restraining order and removed firearms and ammunition from the home.

1:46 p.m., Pound Street. Caller reported a tree blocking the street just up from the middle school.

2:38 p.m., High Street. Caller reported a dead raccoon on Route 27 by Wild Holly. Animal Control was notified.

3 p.m., North Street. Police are on an investigation.

4:42 p.m., North Street. Caller reported a problem with a drunk family member who left on foot. 

5:11 p.m., North and Main Streets. Several callers reported a car accident (1998 Mazda B3000) with personal injury. The car was towed.

6:50 p.m., mutual aid. Dover Police requested assistance with kids on Tower Hill Road in Dover. Medfield responded and returned at 7:37 p.m.

9:10 p.m., mutual aid. Dover Police requested assistance at Rocky Woods, and asked police to check the parking lot for a car. They have a female lost in the woods on their side. Police said there was no car in the area. Dover Police located the missing person.
