Monday, June 24

10:43 a.m., North Street. Police reported a car accident at North and Green Streets involving a 2006 Toyota Scion and a 2001 Kia Sorrento. One car was towed.

11:13 a.m., Spring Street. Caller reported “some type of animal” in her yard. Animal Control and police responded but the animal was gone when they got there.

11:45 a.m., Elm Street. A student at the Wheelock School accidentally called 911 when trying to place an outside call to her mother. Police confirmed it was accidental.

1:21 p.m., Green Street. Hinkley Pond worker said they just pulled a turtle out of Hinkley Pond. Animal Control was contacted.

2:02 p.m., Cottage Street. Caller said the railroad crossing at Cottage Street is still going off and the train went through a while ago. CSX was notified.

3:51 p.m., North Street. Caller reported a car accident between a 2006 Nissan Altima and a 2008 Ford Econowagon. The Altima was towed.

3:55 p.m., Harding Street. Caller requested Animal Control to remove a dead bird from her front lawn.

6:56 p.m., Hickory Drive. Caller requested an ambulance for her 12-year-old son who has been vomiting “for some time now.” Medfield Ambulance took him to Norwood Hospital.

8:04 p.m., Adams Street. Alarm company reported an open door at a local business. Police secured the door.

11:14 p.m., Cole Drive. Norwood Police asked that a message be delivered to aMedfield resident. Message delivered.
