Three Males Found Drinking at State Hospital, Summonses Issued

A report of suspicious activity leads police to find three males -- one older, two younger -- with alcohol on Hospital Road.

 

A woman out for an evening walk on Friday discovered three young men engaged in suspicious activity on Hospital Road.

According to the police report she made on April 26 at 5:15 p.m., the woman was walking in the fields around the Odyssey House (on the grounds of the former Medfield State Hospital) when she spotted three young males by an older model Camry and then a new Toyota truck drove in and met up with the three boys.

She told police that, in the newer truck, was "an older man driving and two young boys, one in the front seat and one in the back seat." 

She found the incident suspicious.

Police arrived at the scene at 5:29 p.m. and later issued a summons for the following:

  1. Male resident of Thomas Clewes Road, Medfield: Sell/deliver liquor to person under 21.
  2. Male resident of Thomas Clewes Road, Medfield: Person under 21 possession of liquor.
  3. Male resident of Adams Street, Medfield: Person under 21 possession of liquor.

At 6:06 p.m., two vehicles were towed from the scene including a 2000 Toyota 4 Runner and a 1995 Nissan Maxima.
