Teen Parked Near Girlfriend's House After Midnight, Truck Stolen, Suspicious Man Near Kids, and More

Sunday, May 26

11:44 a.m., Hartford Street. Caller reported a man in a black car, maybe a BMW, stopped near Rocky Woods driveway and threw out a backpack into the woods. Police found the backpack which was empty.

4:18 p.m., South Street. Caller said a woman has a cut on her head from a tree branch that came down. She is bleeding from the head and is alert and talking. They have her head wrapped and an ice pack on it. Medfield Ambulance took her to Needham Hospital.

6:36 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported an erratic driver driving east, near 230 Main Street, in a Toyota Rav4. Westwood Police were notified.

8:57 p.m., Lantern Lane. Caller asked for an ambulance for her son who just had a minor seizure. Medfield Ambulance responded but no transport.

Monday, May 27

12:37 a.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a possible disabled motor vehicle. Police spoke by phone with the owner who said her son has the car and his girlfriend lives near the corner of Route 115 in Sherborn and Route 27. 

6:36 a.m., Dover Road. Millis Police reported they had a truck stolen overnight near the Medfield town line.

10:58 a.m., Granite Street. Caller reported a tree near 57 Granite Street that is about to come down in the road. Tree Warden was notified.

2:32 p.m., Birch Road and Valley Road. Walk-in report of a suspicious vehicle (Gray Toyota Camry) with an older man sitting in it, maybe taking a nap. Woman said this has been going on for at least three weeks. They have a lot of kids in the area and she would like him to find another place to park. Police spoke with the man who said he is a member of the Westwood Gun Club and he pulled over to talk on his cell phone. The man did say there had been some kids riding their bikes around his vehicle.

7:43 p.m., Snyder Road. Medfield Ambulance responded to a report of chest pains. Patient was taken to Norwood Hospital.
