Police Log: Teen Charged with 19 Counts of Larceny over $250

Here's a glance at the Medfield safety log for Jan. 18 and Jan. 19.

Friday, Jan. 18

7:43 a.m., South and Curve Streets. Traffic enforcement, no violations.

8:15 a.m., North Street. Police are seeking a summons for a 17-year-old resident of North Street, Medfield, for 19 counts of larceny over $250.

8:39 a.m., South Street. Police stopped a car on South Street and are seeking a summons for a 42-year-old male resident of Russell Avenue, East Providence, Rhode Island, for failure to stop/yield and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. 

10:14 a.m., West Mill Street. Walk-in report from a woman who said her son had his iPod stolen at school on Jan. 17.

1:58 p.m., North Street. A member of the Unitarian Church reported that a white female, 40-50 years old, entered the church asking for money to get back to Shrewsbury; she was sent on her way. She was driving a blue 1999 Ford Taurus. She could not be located.

2:01 p.m., Main Street. Police reports a male either sleeping or passed out in his car (1991 Mercury Grand Marquis) the former Friendly's parking lot. The man was just sleeping because he has a long ride ahead of him. 

6:11 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a pedestrian accident in the parking lot of Noon Hill Grill. Matter was resolved between parties.

8:03 p.m., Wilkens Glen Road. Caller reported her husband has not returned home from work and he left hours ago. She said he is diabetic and she is concerned. Soon, he returned home but seemed to be having a diabetic reaction. Medfield ambulance responded (Westwood ambulance was called but cancelled) and tried to get a satisfactory reading of the man's sugars.

8:49 a.m., Boyden Road. Caller reported her husband was experiencing A-Fib. Westwood ambulance responded and too the man to Norwood Hospital.

Saturday, Jan. 19

8:59 a.m., South Street. Caller had an animal complaint. The Animal Control Officer responded.

11:26 a.m., North Street. Caller asked for assistance with her son. Peace restored.

3:15 p.m., Pine Street. Caller requested an ambulance for her 11-year-old son who had fallen. Transport refused.

4:53 p.m., Spring and Curve Streets. Caller reported a strong odor of natural gas in the area. 

6:10 p.m., Frairy Street. Caller reported there were loud noises in the area.
