Summons for Disorderly House, Brush Fire, and More

Here is a look at the Medfield safety logs for Oct. 22, Oct. 23 and Oct. 24

Tuesday, Oct. 22

7:44 p.m., Ledgetree Road. E911 caller needed an ambulance for his 59-year-old wife who was on a new medication and not feeling well.

7:47 p.m., Main Street. Caller asked for police to go to the Gulf gas station after an altercation with the clerk. He said he had a problem with his credit card when paying for his gas and then it turned into a problem with the man behind the counter. "There were words said between the two." Police responded and the caller said he would return in the morning to pay cash for the gas.

8:47 p.m., Carmen Circle. Caller reported loud music and people talking loudly in the area. Police said the two females at the house said they will quiet down and turn down the music. At 9:02 p.m., police received another call about the house. On Thursday, (Oct. 25) a summons would be served for keeping a noisy and disorderly house. 

9:59 p.m., West Mill Street. Caller said a deer was hit by a car near 16 West Mill Street. It was still alive and in the road. Police responded and it was no longer alive. The Highway Department removed it in the morning. 

Wednesday, Oct. 23 

9:33 a.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a deer was hit near 90 North Meadows Road and was still alive. The Animal Control Officer had to put down the deer. 

11 a.m., North Meadows Road. Walk-in report about a man who had fallen at the transfer station. She said an older man, maybe around 80 years old, had fallen down and hit his head at the transfer station. She wanted police to check on him. Police spoke with the man who said he was okay and didn't need any help. 

7:22 p.m., Noon Hill Road. E911 caller said he had fallen and could not get up. He was not hurt but he needed help getting up. Medfield EMTs responded. 

11:58 p.m., West Street. Caller said he saw smoke in the area of West and Bridge Streets. Medfield Fire discovered a fire in the woods behind the sewer treatment plant. 

Thursday, Oct. 24 

7:33 a.m., West Street. Medfield Fire reported they had some hot spots from last night's brush fire. 

11 a.m., Carmen Circle. Police served a summons to a 59-year-old resident on Carmen Circle for keeping a noisy and disorderly house. 

4:14 p.m., station. Estate sale representative stopped into the station to talk about the Schilling estate sale on Oct. 26. 

4:57 p.m., South Street. E911 caller asked for an ambulance at the high school because her friend might have dislocated her knee. Transport refused. 

8:16 p.m., Turtle Brook Way. Lifeline called to report a woman had fallen down a flight of stairs and was hurt. Medfield Ambulance took her to Norwood Hospital.
