Sex Offender Working in Town, Football Concussion, Old Ammunition, and More

Here's a look at the Medfield police logs for Nov. 7 and Nov. 8.

Here is a look at the Medfield safety logs for Nov. 7 and Nov. 8.

Thursday, Nov. 7

5:29 a.m., Main Street. Caller said he hit a deer near Tubwreck Drive. The deer took off.

8:04 a.m., North Street. Traffic enforcement near Pine Street. 

5:01 p.m., station. Man came into station to pick up his cell phone. 

7:29 p.m., Main Street. Car accident on Main Street in the CVS parking lot involving a 2004 Toyota Tacoma and a 2001 Audi.

8:01 p.m., station. Man walked into the station to register as a sex offender. He lives in Walpole but works in Medfield. 

9:19 p.m., Miller Street. Caller said he was helping his girlfriend clean out her basement and they found some old ammunition. Police picked up the ammo and took it back to the station.

Friday, Nov. 8

4:50 a.m., Main Street. Caller reported a problem with the railroad crossing gates. CSX was notified. Fire Department tied up gates. The problem was repaired at 8:07 a.m.

2:37 p.m., Turtle Brook Way. E911 caller asked for help getting off the floor. Medfield Fire responded.

2:39 p.m., West Street. Walk-in report of equipment stolen from a work site.

2:52 p.m., Lawrence Circle. Walk-in report of larceny. The man said someone took his laptop and won't give it back. At 5:27 p.m., the laptop was returned.

6:02 p.m., Spring Street. Caller said his dog was missing.

7:54 p.m., Farm Street. Walk-in report of mischief near Dover. Man reported six to eight kids in the area of the railroad crossing on Farm Street and when they saw his headlights, they ran off in different directions. Gone on arrival.

8:15 p.m., Farm Street. Caller reported an erratic driver behind him. Police located and spoke with that driver (from Ticonderoga Lane in Millis) and said there was no problem. 

8:14 p.m., South Street. Medfield Ambulance was called to Medfield High School for a head injury during the football game. Student was taken to Needham Hospital.

11:16 p.m., Turtle Brook Way. Caller said his wife has fallen and is in a lot of pain. Medfield Ambulance took her to Needham Hospital.
