Road Rage, Restraining Order, Hit Tree and More

Here's a closer look at the Medfield safety log.

Wednesday, Jan. 15

5:30 a.m., North Meadows Road. Police notified the Highway Department that the roads are icy all over town.

6:11 a.m., Hight Street. Caller reported a car accident on Route 27 at Garry Drive where a car hit a tree. A 2008 Ford pickup was towed. 

12:47 p.m., Wilkens Glen Road. Caller wanted to see an officer about a possible protective order. Police secured the protective order against a 53-year-old resident of Wildwood Road in Mattapan for (1) annoying telephone calls, and (2) threats to commit a crime. 

1:58 p.m., Flint Lock Lane. E911 caller asked for an ambulance because he injured his back and is in a lot of pain. Medfield Ambulance took him to Needham Hospital. 

5:29 p.m., Causeway Street. Walk-n report of "road rage by the bridge" on Causeway Street involving a red 2010 Ford F150 pickup truck also registered to a Medfield resident. 

5:37 p.m., Flint Locke Lane and Green Street. Caller reported a barking dog in the area. This is an ongoing problem. Police said that all was quiet. 

6:39 p.m., Adams Street. E911 caller thought someone tried to open the door by her garage. Police said all was okay and thought it might have been an animal that then ran off. 

7:05 p.m., Marlyn Road. Caller said he received a call from his 81-year-old father who lives on Marlyn Road who is having chest pains. The man was taken to Norwood Hospital.
