Restraining Order Arrest, Lifeline Reports Moaning, Dad Missing, Note in Mailbox

Here's a glance at the Medfield safety log for Jan. 28, Jan. 29 and Jan. 30.

12:24 p.m., West Street. Caller said there is a large black dog running around the area of 93 West Street. Caller said the dog ran after him and jumped into his pickup truck. 

12:44 p.m., Bridle Field Lane. Caller reports an alarm going off and she cannot turn it off. Police reset the alarm.

3 p.m., Dedham. Medfield Police en route to the station from Mass Avenue in Dedham with an arrests for a man who violated a restraining order. Walter J. Burke (age 40) of 52 Mass Avenue, Dedham, was picked up on warrants for violation of a harassment prevention orders. 

4:11 p.m., Main Street. Car accident with property damage near Brook Street involving a 2013 Volvo Utah and a 1999 Ford pickup.

4:20 p.m., Lowell Mason Road. E911 caller, a young boy, said he just came home and cannot find his brother or father. Police went to the house while the dispatcher kept the boy on the line. Meanwhile, the father came home.

7:02 p.m., Wilkins Glen. Lifeline said they had a call from this address; there was no one on the line but they could hear moaning. Police and Fire responded; Medfield Ambulance took a patient to Norwood Hospital.

11:42 p.m., Peter Kristoff Way. Alarm company called to say the alarm was going off at the American Legion. Alarm company will contact the key holder.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

12:00 a.m., Main Street. Medfield Highway Department reported a car off the road with no personal injury near Millbrook Road.

12:23 a.m., South Street. Caller said he slid on South Street Extension near Stage Coach Road and took out a mailbox. He left a note in the mailbox for the homeowner, and he will call the homeowner about replacing it. 

7:08 a.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a car accident with property damage near Hospital Road. 

7:40 a.m., Maplewood Road. Fire Chief Kingsbury reports a broken water pipe on the street. Medfield Ambulance shut off the water.

8:55 a.m., Main Street. Officer said someone stopped him to report the left turn light on Main Street is not working. Police said the light is working fine now.

10:10 a.m., North Street. Caller said there is a fire alarm going off at the Montrose School. Fire Chief Kingsbury said it was a sprinkler alarm problem. 

2:35 p.m., Ice House Road. Caller from senior center reported a woman had fallen and is bleeding. Medfield Ambulance took her to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

5:52 p.m., Frairy Street. Caller reported a working fire in an apartment. The fire was in the kitchen and was knocked down. 

6 p.m., High Street. E911 caller said she would like an ambulance for a 93-year old woman who is not feeling well. Walpole Ambulance took her to Norwood Hospital.

8:55 p.m., West Street. Lifeline reported an 83-year-old woman had fallen. Medfield Ambulance took her to Beth Israel Deaconess in Needham.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

7:43 a.m., Curve Street. Caller reported three traffic cones in the road that she would like removed. Police moved them.

8 a.m., Hillcrest Road. Caller said that, sometime during the night, someone walked around her house and looked in all the windows. No entry was made.

8:23 a.m., Spring Street. Caller reported a minivan with a flat tire driving slowly causing a lot of backup. Vehicle gone on arrival. Original caller now reports vehicle is on Route 27 in Walpole near Turner Pond. Walpole Police were notified.

10:48 a.m., North Street. Walk-in report of larceny. Man said that, when he moved here in November, some of his belongings were missing.

11:20 a.m., Spring Street. E911 caller said his girlfriend was threatening suicide. Riverside Community Care also responded.

11:41 a.m., Main Street. Nurse said a 65-year-old man was having trouble breathing. Medfield Ambulance took him to Norwood Hospital.

1:35 p.m., Bridge Street. Caller reported a stray dog in her yard. Animal Control was notified.

6:16 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a two car accident -- 1999 Chevy S10 and a 2004 GMC pickup -- near North Street. 

7:55 p.m., South Street. Traffic enforcement, one citation.

8:08 p.m., Green Street. Caller said that while he as driving on Green Street, someone shined a flashlight at him. He asked police to speak with the person but he could not be found. 

11:29 p.m., Wilkins Glen. Caller said she wanted a subject removed from her apartment.
