Protective Custody, Teens at Hinkley Pond, "Donuts" in Snow, and More

Wednesday, Jan. 1

1:45 a.m., Main Street. A Millis woman, 49, was taken into protective custody. A friend picked her up at 2:30 a.m. 

11:25 a.m., Johns Avenue. Caller said a car was blocking his driveway. The car was registered to Ledgetree Road and was towed.

7:58 p.m., Hinkley Pond. Police removed a 1998 Dodge Ram and two 17-year-olds from the area. 

Thursday, Jan. 2

1:41 a.m., station. Police reported new snow on the roads. DPW was advised. 

12:31 p.m., North Street. Car accident involving a 2001 Subaru Legacy.

3:25 p.m., station. Alert issued that there will be no school on Friday, Jan. 3, due to the weather. 

3:25 p.m., Dedham. Call from Dedham District Court that they will be closed on Friday, Jan. 3, due to the weather. 

7:07 p.m., Oriole Road and Liberty Road. Caller reported a small black vehicle doing "donuts" in the snow in the area. Gone on arrival.

8:07 p.m., Wilkens Glen. Caller reported a truck with two dogs in it. Police notified the owner who will remove the dogs. 

Friday, Jan. 3

12:15 p.m., Donnelly Drive. Caller reported two cars speeding. Gone on arrival. 

12:31 p.m., Main Street. Car accident at Milbrook and Main Street involving a 1992 Silver pickup. 

7:48 p.m., South Street. E911 caller asked for an ambulance for her 17-year-old daughter who ate peanuts and is allergic. Mom gave her the epi-pen.  

10:46 p.m., Pine Street. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle in front of her house. Police said the car had slid off the road and was waiting for help. 

11:46 p.m., Pine Street. Caller reported an elderly man got his vehicle stuck in a snowbank. The man had called AAA who removed it from the snowbank at 12:32 a.m.
