Police Thank Public for Help in Finding Missing Medfield Teen

Police Chief Robert Meaney Jr. thanked the community for being instrumental in locating Brittany Thompson, the 17-year-old Medfield teen who had been missing since Sept. 9.

At a press conference at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, Medfield Police Chief Robert Meaney Jr. announced that Brittany Thompson, a Medfield teen missing since Sept. 9, had been found "safe and unharmed" in Coventry, RI. 

Just before noon today, Chief Meaney shared "very good news" with Medfield residents with this reverse 9-1-1 call:

"Brittany Thompson has been found safe and unharmed. We received many credible pieces of information from people that were instrumental in solving the issue. Thank you to all who helped us find Brittany."
