Police Logs, Feb. 9-15: Train Blocks Traffic on West St. and Loose Sheep on Plain St.

Highlights from Medfield police and fire logs.

Thursday, Feb. 9:

12:26 a.m. – Officer was out on Main Street near Pound Street with a motor vehicle stop and requested Assured Collision for the motor vehicle. A 38-year-old Framingham man was issued a court summons on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

5:49 a.m. – Two calls about a car hitting a deer on Route 109 near the Dover line came into the station. Officer responded and put the deer down. Highway Department was notified for removal.

6:36 a.m. – Caller reported a car going up and down Hospital Road with a loud muffler.

8:40 a.m. – Woman from the Thomas Upham House came into the station with a letter of disinvite for a 32-year-old Millville individual, who is “currently in lock up at for making threats to hurt or possibly kill some workers at the Thomas Upham House,” according to the police log.

2:41 p.m. – Woman called emergency 911 from Indian Hill Road to request the ambulance for a woman who fell and hit her head. Ambulance transported patient to Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

4:23 p.m. – Man from Main Street came into the station to file a past larceny report. Man owns a vacant house on North Street and he had some things stolen. Officer spoke with the man.

11:49 p.m. – Caller reported she would like the ambulance for her husband who is not feeling well. Ambulance transported patient to B.I.D. Hospital in Needham.

Friday, Feb. 10:

7:35 a.m. – Man from Frairy Street called and requested to see an officer. Man had some vandalism to his vehicle happen overnight and had an unwanted female in his house that he would like removed by the police. Officer reported unwanted female left the house when he arrived. Filed a report on the vandalism.

8:26 a.m. – Woman from South Street called emergency 911 to request the ambulance for her husband who was having difficulty breathing. Paramedics responded and ambulance transported patient to Framingham Hospital.

9:47 a.m. – Man from Flint Locke Lane called emergency 911 to request the ambulance for his wife who may be having a stroke. Patient was transported by Westwood paramedics to Glover Hospital.

5:50 p.m. – Emergency 911 caller reported a 58-year-old male got his hand caught in a door on Pleasant Street and was bleeding. Patient was transported by ambulance to Norwood Hospital.

Saturday, Feb. 11:

4:18 a.m. – 911 caller reported she would like an ambulance for her mother on Main Street, who is not feeling well. Patient transported to Norwood Hospital.

8:11 a.m. – Man called from South Street to request the ambulance transport his mother to the hospital. Patient was transported to Glover Hospital.

8:13 a.m. – Man from Hearthstone Drive called emergency 911 to request help getting up off the floor because his wife cannot do it alone. Man said he was not hurt but did bump his head. Walpole paramedics transported man to Norwood Hospital.

1:38 p.m. – Medfield Police officer issued a 54-year-old Norfolk resident a court summons on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license after stopping the individual’s motor vehicle on South Street and Indian Hill Road.

1:45 p.m. – Woman called from her cell phone to request the Medfield Fire Department for a smell of gas in the kitchen at St. Edward’s Church on Spring Street. Officer reported the fire department was all clear.

Sunday, Feb. 12:

7:23 a.m. – Caller reported a possible water leak on Flint Locke Lane near Green Street. Officer reported it was coming from 57 Flint Locke Ln. and he spoke to the homeowner, who said it was from his basement sump pump.

11 a.m. – Woman reported she had a dog in her front yard on Nebo Street and would like to speak to Animal Control.

5:27 p.m. – Caller reported they had an older golden retriever at Bullards Market on Green Street that is lost. Animal Control notified.

Monday, Feb. 13:

5:39 a.m. – Man called emergency 911 from Metacomet Street to request the ambulance for his mother, who is not feeling well. Patient was transported to MetroWest Natick.

8:36 a.m. – Medfield Fire Department’s ladder truck responded to mutual aid for a working fire on Rosenfeld Road in Millis.

3:01 p.m. – One call came into the station about a tree blocking West Street. Four to five calls came in about a train blocking West Street. Officer reported this was the train causing the traffic problem but it is now moving.

9:31 p.m. – 911 caller reported her mother as not feeling well and requested the ambulance to John Crowder Road. Patient was transported to L.M. Hospital.

Tuesday, Feb. 14:

8:12 a.m. – Woman called from Blake Middle School to request the ambulance for a middle school student in the nurse’s office that took too many pills. Student was sitting in a chair and talking and his mother was on the way to the school. EMT requested paramedics to respond to the school and transport patient. The ambulance transported the student to Norwood Hospital.

3:01 p.m. – Cell phone caller reported sheep were loose on Plain Street at the 4H building. Animal Control notified.

7:07 p.m. – 911 caller from Kamark Drive reported she would like an ambulance for her father who was not feeling well. Patient was transported to LM Hospital.

7:55 p.m. – 911 caller from Pleasant Street reported he would like an ambulance for his brother who was having a lot of pain. Walpole paramedics notified and transported patient to B.I.D. Hospital in Needham.

Wednesday, Feb. 15:

9:21 a.m. – Officer was out doing radar on South Street and Wilson Street and reported no citations were issued.
