Police Logs, Feb. 28-March 2

Highlights from police and fire logs.

Monday, Feb. 28:

6:54 a.m. – Officer Laplante reported a motor vehicle accident at Brook and Main Streets. Papers were exchanged.

7:26 a.m. – Caller reported a dog walking down Green Street dragging a leash. Animal Control officer notified.

7:29 a.m. – Caller reported a motor vehicle accident on North Meadows road. Truck was overturned. No personal injury, according to officer. Accident occurred in Sherborn. Officer Anderson assisted Sherborn with traffic.

7:56 a.m. – 911 hang-up from the elevator at Town Hall. Officer reported no problem.

9:52 a.m. – Caller at Pine Street requested an assist with a bat. Animal Control notified but was unable to find the bat.

2:57 p.m. – Cell caller reported a minor motor vehicle collision on South Street. Officer transported one individual to Pound Street.

6:59 p.m. – Officer was out at Frairy Street to try and serve a warrant but nobody was home.

7:15 p.m. – An individual called to report about his property at Park Street. He had a tenant on the second floor who may have been abusing his girlfriend. There was a lot of yelling “going on.” Officers responded but all was clear. A report was filed.

7:27 p.m. – 911 caller reported she just talked to her friend at Wilkens Glen Road, who told her that she took 14 Aleve. Desk officer called the subject’s cell phone who stated that she was outside, in front of building 8. Ambulance transported patient to Norwood Hospital.

10:27 p.m. – Officers were out at Frairy Street to serve a warrant but nobody was home.

10:51 p.m. – Lieutenant Steve Shangold from the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Department was in with paperwork for an address on Tilden Village – Pound Street.

10:59 p.m. – 911 caller reported he would like an ambulance at South Street for his mother who has high blood pressure. Ambulance was enroute to Norwood Hospital with patient.

Tuesday, March 1:

8:42 a.m. – Woman called emergency 911 from West Mill Street to request an ambulance for a woman they had in the dentist office at DMD Scott T Bedell. Woman had a low O2 level. Ambulance was enroute with patient to Norwood Hospital.

2:08 p.m. – EMT called from his cell phone at 108 North St. to request Assured Collision towing because a woman had her jeep stuck in a snow bank in her driveway. Tow truck notified.

2:36 p.m. – Woman called from Medfield High School to report one of her buses is stuck at the West Street railroad crossing. The lights and bells were going off but there was no train. Officer Bento reported there was a man from CSX railroad working on the tracks at the time and there was no problem.

3:59 p.m. – Man called from his cell phone at Noon Hill Road to request an ambulance for a man who had fallen in front of his walkway and could not get up. He was not in any pain. EMT responded and reported no transport necessary.

8:30 p.m. – Man from Hilltop Circle called and requested to see an officer. His daughter had been receiving a lot of cell phone messages from a male party she stated she did not know. Officer Grover spoke with party and all was OK for now.

Wednesday, March 2:

7:38 a.m. – Officer Bento on radar assignment, reported average speed at Knollwood Road was 25 mph.

7:58 a.m. – Caller reported truck blocking the road at Harding Street and Hospital Road. Sergeant reported they were moving the truck.
