Police Logs, Feb. 10-14

Highlights from police and fire logs.

Thursday, Feb. 10:

12:05 a.m. – Officer Daniel Pellegrini performed a motor vehicle stop on Plain and High Streets and requested Assured Collision to tow vehicle because operator was unlicensed. Summons was issued to the Framingham resident for operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment (muffler) and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle.

12:32 a.m. – 911 caller requested ambulance at Thomas Upham House. Individual in need transported to Metrowest Natick.

11:33 a.m. – 911 call from Town Hall elevator. Town Hall reported it was accidental.

11:41 a.m. – Officer Friend reported no crossing guard at Dale and Adams Streets. Officer Bento covered.

2:15 p.m. – Blake Middle School requested a detail officer for a dance at the middle school at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 11.

2:44 p.m. – Tree Tech requested three detail men for Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the pond on Green Street.

3:05 p.m. – Resident from North Street reported two kids jumping on the snow banks and she was afraid they would slide into the street. Officer Flaherty checked the area but kids were gone on arrival.

3:05 p.m. – Caller reported a hammer sitting in the middle of the roadway on Main Street and Robert Sproul Road. Officer O’Neil removed hammer from roadway.

4:43 p.m. – Caller reported her 84-year-old husband was having difficulty breathing. Ambulance responded and transported to Metrowest Natick with two medics onboard.

5:08 p.m. – Caller reported a beat up white car parked in her spot at Tilden Village on Pound Street. The vehicle had two young people in it and the caller wanted them checked out. Officer O’Neil and Flaherty responded and officer O’Neil reported the names of the two individuals and told the two to leave and not return.

6:54 p.m. – Caller reported sparks coming from her outlet at her Hospital Road residence. Fire Department responded.

8:13 p.m. – Motorist informed officer Flaherty of an erratic motor vehicle operator and pulled operator over on Main Street by Friendly’s. Summons was issued to Millis resident for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating after revocation of registration.

9:02 p.m. – Caller reported she had been receiving strange calls. The last call, the woman’s four-year-old child answered and a man started talking to her. The woman Googled the number and many people have reported it as a scam. Desk officer advised her to block the number and call her carrier and advised woman to contact Medfield Police if calls are repeated.

Friday, Feb. 11:

9:19 a.m. – Caller on South Street the ambulance for his wife. Ambulance was enroute to the Glover Hospital.

11:11 a.m. – Caller reported two Comcast trucks parked on a bad curve on Causeway Street. Caller was unable to see the road ahead of her and wanted area checked. Officer spoke with drivers and they said they would be leaving.

1:17 p.m. – Caller on Pilgrim Lane requested the ambulance for herself. Ambulance transported woman to Norwood Hospital.

3:20 p.m. – Caller reported he would like the sidewalk in front of 270 Main St. plowed. It had not been done yet. Highway Department. Bob Kennedy Jr. reported Highway Department not responsible for clearing that sidewalk.

3:53 p.m. – Pembroke police called Medfield police and asked if Medfield could serve a harassment order to a subject that was at the Medfield station. Sergeant was notified and order was served to subject. Sergeant Burton spoke to Pempbroke police and the paperwork would be given to officer Friend to take to court Monday.

3:58 p.m. – Individual came into the station requesting a jump start. Her car was halfway on the sidewalk on North Street. Officer was enroute with jumper box.

4:48 p.m. – Individual came into the station requesting a ride home. Officer took individual to Granite Street.

6:38 p.m. – Woman from Nebo Street called to report she slipped getting into her car on the driveway. She requested an officer to help her get out of her car and into her house. Woman was not hurt. Officer Christine DiNatale responded and assisted woman into her house.

6:38 p.m. – Desk officer received an emergency 911 call from the elevator at Town Hall. Desk officer called back with no luck. Officer Larz Anderson responded and reported no problem at Town Hall or elevator.

Saturday, Feb. 12:

12:08 p.m. – Man called emergency 911 from Ledgetree Road to request an ambulance for his father, who recently came home from the hospital and had fallen down. Son wanted him taken back to the hospital to be checked. Ambulance was enroute to Norwood Hospital with patient.

1:38 p.m. – Woman from Blacksmith Drive called to request the Animal Control officer because she had a squirrel stuck in her bird feeder in the backyard. Animal Control responded.

7:33 p.m. – Woman called to report bells and lights were going off at the Hospital Road crossing. She also reported no train in the area. Sgt. Burton requested desk officer call CSX Railroad. CSX reported crossing was fixed at 1:19 a.m.

Sunday, Feb. 13:

5:35 p.m. – Caller from 10 Causeway St. reported he heard a ladder fall from a house on Black Pine Road. Officers responded and reported no problem.

Monday, Feb. 14:

7:49 a.m. – Caller reported a milk truck was stuck on some ice at 5 Causeway St. Officer Grover and Highway Department both notified. The truck was able to get out. The Highway Department sanded the area.

8:07 a.m. – Caller reported her son on Adams Street was not answering his phone and was supposed to be going to school. She was concerned for his well-being and wanted an officer to check the house. She said the door was unlocked and the officer had permission to go inside to check on the son. Officer woke son up and the son was on his way to school.

9:22 a.m. – Received a 911 call from the Town Hall elevator. Officer Grover checked the elevator and everything was all set.
