Police Log: Woman Won't Leave Zebra's, Man Overcome by Bees

Sunday, Aug. 25

10:41 p.m.: A caller on Delaware Road reported her alarm had gone off in the house and asked police to check. Police checked and the house was secure.

10:58 p.m.: A caller on Wilkens Glen Road reported their dog was missing. They went out for 10 minutes and when they got back, the dog was missing. They told police they thought someone stole it. Police found no evidence of a break-in.

Monday, Aug. 26

12:00 p.m.: A sergeant received a call about someone removing belongings from a home on Pine Street. Two officers checked and it was a woman helping a resident move.

1:17 p.m.: A young child called 911 and said a man was down on the ground, having an allergic reaction to bee stings. The man was breathing. EMTs responded and the man was taken by ambulance to Norwood hospital.

3:55 p.m.: A caller on Belknap Road reported vandalism to a mailbox.

9:40 p.m.: An officer removed a group of youths from the swim pond on Green Street. The youths were playing laser tag.

Tuesday, Aug. 27

5:49 p.m.: A caller reported an odor of natural gas on Springvalley Road. Firefighters checked and could not find the source.

6:21 p.m.: A caller on Granite Street said a large dark car pulled into the driveway with high school-aged kids, and they created a disturbance before driving off.

6:30 p.m.: A caller on Green Street said he had a dead animal in his back yard and did not know if it was sick or not. The animal control officer responded.

7:08 p.m.: Following a motor vehicle stop on Route 109, near Shaw's, police were seeking a summons to charge a 46-year-old with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and not meeting RMV safety standards for a motor vehicle.

Wednesday, Aug. 28

12:45 p.m.: A woman walked in to police headquarters to speak to an officer about her husband harassing her.

2:18 p.m.: A caller siad the sheep were out on Plain Street. An animal control officer responded and helped get the sheep back in.

4:27 p.m.: A caller on Cross Street said a man and a woman were yelling at each other on Cross Street, near Elm Street. The woman then got in a van and it left on Elm Street. Police responded but everyone was gone.

6:41 p.m.: The manager of Zebra's called to report that a woman would not leave, and she asked police to remove her. Police responded. Police arrested Carolyn B. Bogal, 55, of 7 High St., Medfield, on charges of trespass and disorderly conduct.

6:44 p.m.: A caller on Upham Road reported her stove was sparking, but there was no fire. Firefighters responded.

9:07 p.m.: A woman reported her husband had left in her mini-van and she would like him to return it and use his own truck. Police responded, but before they arrived on Charlesdale Road, the woman called back to report he had returned the mini-van.

Thursday, Aug. 29

8:20 a.m.: A caller on Millbrook Road reported an ongoing problem with speeding cars.

12:09 p.m.: A resident reported a man was walking around a vacant house on South Street. Police responded and learned it was a landscaping company employee doing work for a bank out of Pawtucket, RI. The house was secure.

5:15 p.m.: A caller on Flint Locke Lane reported a fox was on the front stairs, and preventing the owner from getting into the house. An officer responded because the animal control officer was not available. The animal left before the officer arrived.
