Police Log: Warrant for 17-year Old, Bobcats, Eggs, Rogue Dirtbike, Hurricane

Here's a look at the police log for Oct. 26 through Oct. 29.

Friday, Oct. 26

4:30 p.m., Elm Street. Caller reports a blue and white dirt bike riding on fields behind Wheelock School. Someone also saw the vehicle drive down the tracks toward Walpole.

4:56 p.m., Elm Street. Caller reports dirt bike is back on fields and came from Haven Road. Police spoke with party who denied involvement.

7:56 p.m., South Street. Caller reported his car was egged while driving down South Street. Off-duty firefighter noticed which yard responsible parties ran into. 

Saturday, Oct. 27

9:43 a.m., Elm Street. Caller reported a bobcat was in his backyard last night, and he thinks it could still be under his deck. Animal Control Officer was notified.

11:58 a.m., South Street. Caller said someone egged his house during the night. 

6:16 p.m., High Street and Granite Street. Caller reported the smell of gas in the area. Medfield Fire confirmed smell of gas. Columbia Gas was notified. 

Sunday, Oct. 28

8:38 a.m., Main Street. Caller said he hit a deer near 292 Main Street. 

12:29 p.m., Main Street.  Halloween motorcycle run was coming down Route 109. Police manned traffic lights at Spring Street and South Street.

2:34 p.m., John Crowder Road. Walk-in report of credit card larceny.

5:14 p.m. Police Chief Meaney reported there will be no school in Medfield on Monday, Oct. 29.

8:25 p.m., Main Street. Shaw's Market wanted to speak with police about a larceny they had around 6 p.m. tonight. 

9:17 p.m., Ice House Road. An E911 caller reported a suspicious vehicle speeding through the parking lot and driving down the dirt road into the woods where they might be having a party. Police discovered there was a party and issued a warrant for the arrest of a 17-year old Stuart Street resident to be charged with being a person under 21 in possession of liquor.
