Trees Burning Behind Wheelock, Arrest, Visitation Issues

Tuesday, Feb. 19

5:19 a.m., Granite Street. E911 caller reported a 59-year-old man having chest pains. He has a history of heart problems. Man was taken to Norwood Hospital.8:35 a.m., Elm Street. Caller reported wires on trees burning behind the Wheelock fields by the railroad tracks. Medfield Fire Department was notified.

10:02 a.m., Bridge Street. Report of a wire down in the area of Bridge Street. Fire Department reports wire is a phone wire.

12:57 p.m., station. Private investigator reports he is working in town until 5 p.m.

2 p.m., Hartford Street. Detail officer reports a disabled motor vehicle with a flat tire on Hartford Street and requests a cruiser to the scene. Tow truck was called.

7:10 p.m., High Street. Ed Hinkley reports power is out on High Street. 

11:15 p.m., Powderhouse Road and Curve Street. E911 caller reported a disturbance in the area. Caller believes they took off in a vehicle. Police report the youths in the park were having a snowball fight. Police took two youths home. 

Wednesday, Feb. 20

8:57 a.m., Brook Street. Caller reported a small white dog running around and may get hit. Animal Control enroute.

9:08 a.m., station. Walk-in report of a violation of a court order regarding visitation. 

1:46 p.m., Main Street. Millis Police reported an erratic operating coming into Medfield on Main Street going east. Unfounded.

9:54 p.m., North Meadow Road and West Street. Motor vehicle stop resulting in arrest of Stephen Koss, 70, 120 Dover Road, Millis, on an arrest warrant.
