Police Log: Junior Operator with Passenger Violation, Hit Dog, Ambulance for Dancer, 10-year-old Self-Injury

Tuesday, Jan. 8
1:29 p.m., Hospital Road and Harding Street. Traffic enforcement.
2:02 p.m., South and Curve Streets. Traffic enforcement yielded two citations for speed and a Junior Operator License passenger violation.

2:35 p.m., Main Street. Caller from the United Church of Christ called to report no late morning church services on Sunday.
3:58 p.m., Millis. Millis Police requested mutual aid by the Medfield ambulance for a 51 year old male who is diabetic and is at the Millis Police Department. Patient was taken to Milford Hospital.

4:21 p.m., Main and Hartford Streets. Caller reported a car accident between a 2013 Audi and a 2003 Toyota. Minor damage to both vehicles.
7:27 p.m., Pound Street. Police conducted a building check of the high school and middle school.
Wednesday, Jan. 9
7:21 a.m., Powder House Road. E911 caller requested an ambulance for his wife, age 51, who has been having pain in her arm all night and is now light-headed. At 7:34 a.m., Medfield Fire said no transport.
7:49 a.m., E911 from high school. Police spoke with parties at high school, everything is okay.
8:14 a.m., North Meadows Road. E911 caller from a business owner who said he could smell and see smoke in the building. Police said it was a problem with the oil burner.
11:14 a.m., North Meadows Road. Caller said that a woman had fallen down and hit her head. Medfield Fire responded and took patient to Norwood Hospital.
6:54 p.m., Millis. Millis Police requested mutual aid from the Medfield ambulance on Meadow Cart Way for a 10 year old boy attempting to harm himself. Medfield Fire took him to Leonard Morse Hospital.
6:55 p.m., Main Street. Several callers reported a vehicle (a 2004 Volvo) hit a dog near Main Street and Hatters Hill Road. Animal Control was called. Dog was taken to Walpole Vet Clinic; family met them there.
7:16 p.m., West Street. E911 caller reported a dancer hurt her knee. Police called Walpole Police for mutual aid from their ambulance. At 7:44 p.m., the dancer was taken to Norwood Hospital.
