Police Log Including Bumping Neighbors, Massive Pothole, and Man Hit at Gas Station

Sunday, Dec. 16

8:06 a.m., 6:47 p.m., Spring Street. Police helped with church traffic at St. Edward's Church.

9:08 a.m., Main Street. Police helped with church traffic at the United Church of Christ.

9:31 a.m., Garry Drive. Caller reported he was backing out of his driveway at the same time as his neighbor and they backed into each other. Police helped them exchange paperwork regarding the 2010 Taurus and the 2003 Trailblazer.

9:36 a.m., Cross Street. Caller reported someone smashed her mailbox sometime during the night.

7:45 a.m., North Street. Walk-in report of strange text messages. Police spoke with the woman.

Monday, Dec. 17

6:18 a.m., North Street. Walk-in report of a possible disabled motor vehicle. No problem.

6:38 a.m. and 7:11 a.m., North Street and Dale Street. Callers reported a large pothole in the street. Water Department will take care of the problem. At 8:04 a.m., a man came into the station to say that he had hit that pothole at 6:50 a.m. and there was now damage to his vehicle; he will notify town hall.

8:09 a.m., Main Street. Two callers reported that a man had been hit by a car at the gas station. Medfield Fire responded; no ambulance was needed.

9:08 a.m., Main Street. Caller requested police in the CVS parking lot after a car accident at Route 27 and Main Street that involved a 2012 Jaguar and a 2008 Caravan.
