Police Log: Fighting Ex-Spouses, Derelict Dirt Bikes, Jag in MVA

Here is a glance at the safety log from Nov. 12 and a clarification on Nov. 10.

Clarification: A Nov. 10 safety log entry for 10:18 p.m. was clarified on Thursday by the Chief of Police to reflect the fact that the man who resides at the corner of Indian Hill and Onondaga, who flagged down the cruiser to report hearing fireworks in the area, was not involved in the initial incident.

Monday, Nov. 12

8:27 a.m., Curve Street. Caller said she could hear two males fighting nearby. Police discovered it was an argument between ex-spouses, peace was restored, and the parties are now leaving.

10:33 a.m., Main Street. Police assisted pedestrians crossing the street heading to Baxter Park for the Veterans Day ceremony.

10:44 a.m., North Street. Caller reported a tall, thin, white male was in her backyard taking pictures and when she confronted him, he waved to her and left. Police did not find the man.

11:33 a.m., Main Street. Police provided an escort from the UCC to Vine Lake Cemetery.

4:26 p.m., West Street. Several callers reported a two-car accident at West Street and North Meadows Road. Two cars -- a 2003 Jaguar and a 2012 Infiniti -- were towed. 

5:09 p.m., Longmeadow Road. Caller reported dirt bikers riding up and down the street; caller said this is an ongoing problem and requested additional patrols.
