Police Log: More Water Troubles, Young Man at Wheel, Mutual Aid to Millis

Here's a look at the Medfield safety log from Nov. 16.

Friday, November 16

1:05 a.m., North Street. Caller reported water coming into the basement from the water line that the town is working on. Water Department notified.

3:53 a.m., Causeway Street. E911 caller reports smoke alarms going off but no smoke in the house. Medfield Fire responded.

4:43 a.m., Stuart Street. Caller reports carbon monoxide detectors going off. Medfield Fire responded after Causeway Street call.

11:44 a.m., Main Street. Caller reported a car accident at Main and Causeway Streets with property damage but no personal injury. The wrecker was called.

12:40 p.m., Dale Street. Police discovered the bells were ringing and the lights were going of at the Dale Street crossing but no train. Medfield Fire reported the same problem at Cottage Street. CSX Railroad was notified.

2:54 p.m., Millis. Medfield Fire provided mutual aid to Farm Street in Millis for a working fire at Bob's Autobody. 

3:20 p.m., Dale Street. An officer was pursuing two men who were running through the cemetery. Backup arrived by the two men were not found.

7:03 p.m., Spring Street. Caller reported a gray colored van with a young male operating it was going north on Route 27. Police did not find the van.

10:16 p.m., Carmen Circle. Caller reported two cars parked in front of the house with youths sitting in them. Police moved the cars along.

11:01 p.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a vehicle all over the road heading north. The caller had the license plate which was registered to someone on Harding Street. The car was gone on arrival.

11:34 p.m., South Street. Caller reported bottles on South Street between Rocky Lane and Stagecoach Drive. Police moved the bottles to the side of the road.
