Police Log: Cars Broken Into in Belknap Estates and Live Wires Start Fire

Here's a look at the police log for Oct. 30.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 30

1:44 a.m., Millis. Medfield assisted Millis with a motor vehicle accident with personal injury at Exchange Street and Route 115.

2:15 a.m., Pleasant Street. Police responded to a noise complaint; this is an ongoing problem.

2:53 a.m., Country Way. The police and fire departments responded to a working fire due to a live wire down on the ground (due to Hurricane Sandy) that set leaves on fire.

4:30 a.m., Belknap Road. Caller reported that someone went through their car.

5:58 a.m., Belknap Road. Caller reported that someone went through her car over night.

6:08 a.m., Noon Hill Road. Walk-in report of a disabled motor vehicle (yellow Jeep Wrangler) on Causeway Street near Noon Hill Road. Witness said the driver seemed to be disoriented. Medfield Fire responded. The driver was taken to Norwood Hospital and the vehicle was towed.

7:02 a.m., Main Street. Police reset the lights at Shaw's because they were blinking.  

7:36 a.m., Bridge Street. Caller reported hearing gun shots. Police said it is bird hunting season and it is not unusual.

7:39 a.m., Country Way. Caller reported her CO2 sensors were going off and her house still has no power. Fire Chief Kingsbury reports no problem at this time.

8:14 a.m., Hearthstone Drive. Caller reported that someone went through her two cars overnight. Nothing appeared to be missing and there was no damage.

9 a.m., Pine Street. Police reported there was no power on Pine or Spruce Streets. NSTAR was notified.

9:56 a.m., Hearthstone Drive. Caller reported that a knife was taken from his car overnight. His second vehicle was gone through but nothing was taken.

10:03 a.m., Ledgetree Road. Caller reported that someone went through two of her vehicles in her driveway overnight, and stole an iPod.

10:56 a.m., Bridge Street. Caller said a dog ran out in front of her car and almost hit it. She was stopped with the dog. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

11:53 a.m., Hearthstone Drive. Walk-in report of larceny overnight when someone went through her vehicle and stole her daughter's pocketbook which contains credit cards, insurance cards, and cash.
