Police Log: Boy Swallows Glow Stick

The following information was provided by the Medfield Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Sept. 19

10:50 a.m.: A man walked in to police headquarters and turned in an iPhone he found at the hospital fields.

4:34 p.m.: A caller on Granite Street said she found a large knife in front and asked police to remove it. An officer responded and took the knife.

4:49 p.m.: A woman reported that while she was in Dunkin' Donuts, the car she was driving was hit, and the person left the scene without identifying themselves. She said the witnesses identified a plate. Police reported this plate came back to a Framingham address. Police were going to be following up.

6:36 p.m.: A caller reported a woman was intoxicated and had possibly ingested sleeping pills. The woman was taken to the hospital.

6:42 p.m.: A caller reported seeing smoke at Dale and Adams streets. Firefighters found it was a fire pit on Dale Street.

7:15 p.m.: Police received a report of a group of youths possibly smoking marijuana in front of a Frairy Street address. Police responded and found no problem.

11:22 p.m.: A caller on Flint Locke Lane said someone had just tried to enter her car. The alarm went off. She did not see what the person looked like.

Friday, Sept. 20

9:08 a.m.: A caller reported a man was walking around the area of Baker Road. Police responded and found the man was staying at a home in the area.

2:01 p.m.: An officer reported the green left hand turn light at Main and Spring Streets was only staying green for a short time.

3:40 p.m.: A person walked in and reported identity theft.

5:22 p.m.: A sergeant reported he removed a barrel from the roadway on Miller Street. He spoke to the owner of the barrel and told him he could not put the barrel out there.

Saturday, Sept. 21

1:12 p.m.: Police arrested Emmanuel Pierre-Louis, 26, of 63 School St., Everett, on a warrant and on a charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

3:40 p.m.: A town resident found a debit card in the Takara parking lot. Police left a message for the owner.

6:19 p.m.: An individual spoke to an officer and said his son had possibly been abducted and was being held against his will. The officer located the son at work, safe, in Foxborough. The incident was a larceny scheme.

8:38 p.m.: A caller reported her 7-year-old son had swallowed a glow stick. he was alert and talking. Police told her to keep him calm and sitting up and to take nothing more by mouth. An ambulance responded. Police reported a transport offer was refused by the parent.

11:34 p.m.: A caller reported a vehicle on Route 27 had thrown a bottle out of the window.

Sunday, Sept. 22

5:44 p.m.: A caller on Main Street asked for animal control officer, because of an injured rabbit in the back yard. The animal control officer responded.

6:15 p.m.: A man reported a leaking fire hydrant on West Street.

6:40 p.m.: A man reported the Main Street railroad crossing near Noon Hill Grill had railroad spikes that were sticking way up, and could be a problem. Police notified CSX Railroad.

8:39 p.m.: A caller at the Medfield Water Department said they would be flushing fire hydrants on Philip and Elm streets.

Monday, Sept. 23

8:17 a.m.: A woman reported that someone was taking her photo while she was at the Bank of America machine.

11:24 a.m.: A man picked up his Bank of America card that was turned in last week.
