Police Log: Arrest on Main Street, Series of Events on Oriole Road, Garage Break on Evergreen Way

Here is a glance at the police log for Dec. 21 and Dec. 22.

Friday, Dec. 21

7:11 a.m., South Street. Traffic enforcement at the high school. Two citations were issued.

9:37 a.m., Main Street. Motor vehicle stop yielded a man whose license was suspended indefinitely (as of Nov. 2011) for failure to pay child support. Sean M. Cooley, 15 Pine Street, Taunton, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and failure to signal.

10:10 a.m., Forest Street. Walk-in report of a suspicious vehicle (2005 red Honda Odyssey van) in the area.  

12:40 p.m., North Street. Caller reported that a tree had fallen across North Street and cars cannot get by.

12:50 p.m., Main Street and Nye Road. Caller reported the smell of gas in the area. Medfield Fire responded and said all was clear. 

3:58 p.m., North Street. Walk-in report from a mother who could not locate her 11 year old son. HE was found at a neighbor's house.

4:38 p.m., North Street. Walk-in report of a minor motor vehicle accident.

4:50 p.m., Oriole Road. E911 caller said her sister is disoriented with very high blood pressure. Medfield Fire responded. Patient refused transport.

7:19 p.m., Cypress Street. E911 caller repeorted her six-year-old child was having a seizure. While on the phone, the girl came out of the seizure that lasted 11 minutes. They said they did not want the ambulance.

7:49 p.m., Ledgetree Road. E911 caller said a guest broke her arm. Medfield Fire transported her to Norwood Hospital.

8:24 p.m., Upham Road. Caller said someone fell and needs help getting up.

8:27 p.m., Spruce Way. Caller said his wife fell and has multiple lacerations. Westwood Ambulance was called for mutual aid and took the woman to Glover Hospital.

9:26 p.m., Charlesdale Road. Caller reported harassing phone calls from a telemarketer. Police contacted the phone company.

9:40 p.m., Hillcrest Road. Caller reported a vehicle parked in the circle; he thinks kids are parking there and using the trail to the high school. Gone on arrival.

10:53 p.m., Granite Street. Caller said he and his wife were arguing last night and she left heading to Wellesley; he was concerned. She is back in the driveway.

10:59 p.m., Pine Street. Caller said her husband is having a stroke. Medfield Fire responded and took man to Needham. 

Saturday, Dec. 22

3:45 a.m., Oriole Road. E911 caller said his wife is not feeling well. Medfield Fire transported patient to Norwood Hospital. 

3:53 a.m., Janes Avenue. Caller reported a possible motor vehicle accident outside because someone is beeping the horn and will not stop. She alled back at 3:56 a.m. to say the vehicle took off. Police did not see any damage in the area.

11:51 a.m., Hartford Street. Caller reported an erratic driver in a blue BMW on Hartford Street tailgating her vehicle. Gone on arrival.

1:31 p.m., Oriole Road. Caller reported their neighbor's carport had blown into the road and they are not around. Police and some neighbors secured the item in the back yard. 

2 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no personal injury.

5:18 p.m., Evergreen Way. Caller said someone broke into his garage today; nothing was stolen but he wanted it logged.

5:40 p.m., Vine Brook Road. Caller said she lost her iPhone today. 

7:39 p.m., Elm Street. Walk-in report of a group of kids behind the Wheelock School. Police moved the youths along.

9:41 p.m., Oriole Road. Caller said his 13-month child is having trouble breathing. Medfield Fire transported to Norwood Hospital.

10:40 p.m., North Street. Police noticed a vehicle (2011 Subaru) parked on the street with its door open. Police found a purse on the front seat with the owner's information; they secured the vehicle.
