Police Log: Ammunition without an FID Card, Pit Bulls on the Loose, and More

The following information was provided by the Medfield Police Department. When arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Here's a look at the Medfield police log for Oct. 15 and Oct. 16. 

Tuesday, Oct. 15

11:22 a.m., Miller and Park Streets. Traffic enforcement.

1:51 p.m., Harding Street. Traffic enforcement.

2:18 p.m., Spring Street. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle in the St. Edwards' parking lot with someone in the car possibly drinking. Gone on arrival.

4:50 p.m., Wilkens Glen. Caller reported two white pit bulls running around the neighborhood. The dogs ran into the woods toward Hinkley Pond. Police notified Animal Control.

5:16 p.m., Maplewood Road. Caller reported a brown labrador retriever running up Maplewood Road toward Spruce Way. She was afraid it would get hit by a car. Animal Control was notified. 

Wednesday, Oct. 16 

11:51 a.m., Nebo Street. Police stopped a vehicle on Nebo Street near Hearthstone Drive and discovered ammunition in the white 1995 Chevy van. Police are now seeking a summons for a 27 year old Pine Street resident and a 19 year old Carmen Circle resident for possession of ammunition without a federal identification card.  

1:54 p.m., North Street. A walk-in report of an older woman wandering around the Post Office parking lot. Police said she is now home and okay. 

9:55 p.m., Main Street. Medfield Police received a call from Westwood Police relaying information received from Norwood Police about an erratic operator. The operator of an SUV stopped and had words with the driver of a Moped in their town. Police will keep an eye out for the SUV to see if the driver has been drinking. Could not find the SUV.
