Police Log: Amber Alert, Turtle in Road, Voices in Woods, Toilet-Papered, and More

Sunday, May 19

12:47 a.m., Shining Valley Circle. Caller said she can hear voices in the woods that sound like kids. Gone on arrival.

2:17 a.m., Pound Street. LifeLine reported a Tilden Village resident needs help with his bed, he is not injured. Police helped him.

7:49 a.m., South Street. Caller reported that last Thursday his house was toilet papered and then last night someone broke beer bottles in front of his house. 

9:31 a.m., Fox Lane. Caller said a back window of her daughter's vehicle (2001 Volvo) was smashed sometime overnight. Police said it was the driver's side window. Police reported they found the damage at 10pm the night before but are just reporting it now. At 12:52 p.m., they called back to speak with an officer who said the damage looked like a rock hit the window. 

3:25 p.m., Old Bridge Street. Alarm company reports a panic alarm in the lobby of the Medfield Animal Shelter. Police discovered it was set off by the painters. 

Monday, May 20

7:20 a.m., Foundry and Philip Streets. Traffic enforcement.

8:36 a.m., South and Main Streets. Walk-in report that lights at South and Main Streets are not cycling properly. 

9:38 a.m., Harding Street. Caller said she went to drop off her daughter at school and when she got home the front door was ajar and she could hear noise upstairs. Police checked the house but found nothing.

9:56 a.m., Park Street. Police said they shut down an asphalt contractor on Park Street and Oak Street. They were told to order a detail officer.

10:05 a.m., Main Street. Caller requested an ambulance because she feel and needs help getting up. Medfield Ambulance responded but no transport was needed.

10:21 a.m., Main Street. Walk-in report from a woman who said she went into Dunkin Donuts on Saturday night and when she got home she found that her prescription was missing. 

10:30 a.m., Main Street. Caller reported that a turtle was blocking traffic on Main Street. The Animal Control Officer was notified. 

10:52 a.m., Green Street. Caller reported a sick fox in his driveway. Animal Control was notified.

1:39 p.m., Main Street. Caller said a vehicle hit the building on Saturday. Police went to the Indian Hill Road home of the driver. 

2:05 p.m., Hospital Road. Traffic enforcement. 

3:57 p.m., Miller Street. Traffic enforcement. 

5:03 p.m., Main and North Streets. Traffic enforcement; one citation issued.

9:17 p.m., station. Be-on-look-out (BOLO): Amber Alert issued for a man who kidnapped his two children in Braintree driving a 1995 BMW. The children were later found safe. Warning read:

Amber Alert issued for MA Reg 478RF8, a 1995 BMW 525I, driven by Jon Lockwood (DOB: 7/31/58). Subject kidnapped his two children from Braintree, MA. HE has no parental rights. Unknown direction of travel. Use extreme caution. Vehicle was recently run in Walpole and Foxboro. Subject's last known address was a hotel in Foxboro.
