Police Log: Cross Street House Party and One Arrest

Here is a look at the police log from Oct. 5 and Oct. 6.

Friday, Oct. 5

1:52 a.m., Noon Hill Road. Caller said she is housesitting and the alarm went off and she doesn't know why. Police did not find a problem.

9:05 a.m., Sherborn. The Sherborn Police Department radioed the station to request the Medfield ambulance for mutual aid for a motor vehicle crash at South Main Street and Woodland Street in Sherborn.

12:58 p.m., Rhododendron Avenue. Man into the station to report a harassing phone call he received from a man he did work for.

3:04 p.m., Farm Street. Caller reported a car accident with no personal injury on Farm Street near the railroad tracks which resulted in the arrest of a 26-year old Natick resident being charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle (a black Plymouth Neon).

3:36 p.m., South Street and Noon Hill Road. Police issued two traffic citations.

4:31 p.m., North Street and Harding Street. A 911 caller reported a two-car accident (with no personal injury) between a BMW and a Ford F350 pickup.

4:43 p.m., Spring Street and Main Street. Two 911 callers reported an erratic driver on Roue 27 northbound near Route 109; said the vehicle crossed over the line several items and almost struck several vehicles head-on and he had pulled into the convenience store. Police said the operator checked out fine and noted that the vehicle "is in poor shape." 

5:27 p.m., Plain Street. Caller reported a blue sedan parked on Plain Street for about 20 minutes with a male operator who had his head down. Gone on arrival.

6:32 p.m., South Street. Police investigated suspicious activity at a South Street residence. 

7:12 p.m., High Street. Motorist reported a black lab standing on the side of the road on the northbound side of Route 27 near South Street Extension. Gone on arrival.

Saturday, Oct. 6

12:15 a.m., Spring Street. Police stopped a gray Hyundai Accent near Pine Grove and Spring Street and discovered the 24-year old Framingham male driver had an outstanding warrant issued by the Dedham District Court. 

11:01 a.m., Harding Street and Hospital Road. Police assisted with the vehicle traffic around the bicycle ride.

11:01 a.m., Main Street. Bank manager reported two vehicles would be towed from their parking lot.

4:29 p.m., Causeway Street. Caller reported his dog, a white Wheaten terrier, was missing. Caller reported later that the dog was found.

6:32 p.m., Fairview Road. Walk-in report of a possible water main break on Fairview Road. Water Department notified.

6:53 p.m., Route 27. A 911 caller reported they struck a deer on Route 27. Gone on arrival.

9:29 p.m., Henderson Way. Police received several 911 calls from a phone belonging to a young woman. Police called the homeowner who said the phone belonged to her daughter and she would talk to her right away.

10:19 p.m., Steven Lane. Caller reports groups of kids on Steven Lane smashing mailboxes and yelling. Police discovered a house party on Cross Street that was breaking up. Homeowner said he was ending the party due to uninvited individuals attempting to crash it. Parents said there was no alcohol but police noted beer cans all over the front yard. Police saw a large group of kids running into the woods behind the Wheelock School.  Police apprehended four kids at Cross Street and Grace Street -- they called their parents to come get them.
