Police Log: Attempted House Break on Pleasant Street, Halloween Break-Ins at Medfield State Hospital

Here's a look at Medfield's safety log for Nov. 1.

Thursday, Nov. 1

1:42 a.m., Spring Street. Police stopped a white Dodge caravan and issued a citation.

5:35 a.m., North Meadows Road. Caller reported a car parked on the side of the road near the Sherborn line with its lights off and clothes on the ground around the car. Medfield called Sherborn police to check on the car. Gone on arrival.

6:20 a.m., Hospital Road. Security guard from Medfield State Hospital called to say it looked like a couple of the buildings had been broken into with a crow bar last night (Halloween). 

8:11 a.m., Evergreen Way. Medfield Fire responded to Evergreen Way for an eye injury. Transported patient to Norwood.

10:30 a.m., Copperwood Road. 911 caller asked for an ambulance. Patient was transported to Needham.

11:18 a.m., High Street. Kingsbury Club had a letter of disinvite for a High Street resident.

3:52 p.m., unknown street. Caller reported a tree leaning on another tree above wires leading to his house. He was referred to NStar, his house is not on a public way.

4:16 p.m., Pleasant Street. Caller reported that, at 1:30 p.m. today, she observed two Hispanic males attempt to enter her home through a rear porch door. She asked if she could help them and they replied, "We were just stopping by to say Hello." They said this as they were walking away and kept walking. Caller also described an incident a month ago where, at 4 a.m., she thought someone tried her door to see if it was locked.

7:56 p.m., Adams Street. Caller reported hearing load animal noises coming from the woods behind his house. Gone on arrival.

10:11 p.m., Main Street. Caller requested an ambulance for his father. Westwood ambulance was also called. Patient was taken to Norwood.
