Police Arrest Man for Domestic Abuse Then Again for Violating Restraining Order

Police logs also include a death on Granite Street, continuous dog barking on Bridge Street, and more.

The following information was provided by the Medfield Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Here is a look at the Medfield safety logs for Oct. 27 and Oct. 28. 

Sunday, Oct. 27

6:22 a.m., Carmen Circle. E911 caller reported a family disturbance. Timothy James Gorman, 24 of 19 Pine Street in Medfield, was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery. At 8:38 a.m., the Carmen Circle resident called E911 to report that she just left the police station and the man on which she had the no-contact restraining order sent her a text message. At 9:17 a.m., Gorman was arrested for violation of an abuse prevention order. 

8:13 a.m., 12:16 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's Church. 

9:15 a.m., Main Street. Traffic control at United Church of Christ.

4:36 p.m., North Meadows Road. Police stopped a car near the Sherborn town line. They are now seeking a summons for a 34-year-old resident of Union Street, Framingham, for operating after revocation of registration. 

10:24 p.m., North Street. A tow truck driver said he was at a house to repossess a car (Toyota) and the homeowner was inside the front door holding what looked like a baseball bat. 

10:31 p.m., Bridge Street. Caller said his neighbor's dog had been outside and barking for a while. Police said one dog is outside and the other one is inside. No one answered the door. Police left a phone message for the owner. 

Monday, Oct. 28

10:11 a.m., Sturbridge Road. Caller said there was a dead deer behind her house. Animal Control responded.

11:45 a.m., Garry Drive. Walk-in report of fraud.

12:26 p.m., Wilkens Glen. Several callers reported a dog hit by a car and a woman bitten by the dog at that location. Woman was taken to Norwood Hospital.

12:55 p.m., Granite Street. E911 caller asked for an ambulance for their father who might have died. Police reported this was a sudden death. State Police and the Medical Examiner were notified. Mitchells-Roberts Funeral Home will take care of arrangements. 

9:54 p.m., North Street. Several E911 callers reported a car hit a deer near the gun club; air bags were deployed. Police put down the deer.
