OUI Teen Arrest, Sledding Concussion, Pole Fire, and More

Saturday, Jan. 4

1:20 a.m., Spring Street. E911 caller said a car went off the road and almost hit his house. Laura E. Petrucci, 19 of 22 Cole Drive in Medfield, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of liquor, license not in possession, marked lanes violation. 

10:50 a.m., Kenney Road. Walk-in report of mailbox vandalism. He said sometime overnight the sidewalk plow damaged his mailbox and post valued at $600. He will call Town Hall on Monday. 

10:50 a.m., Main Street. Caller said another patron in the coffee shop's parking lot backed up into her vehicle. 

11:47 a.m., South Street. Caller said he had a broken water pipe in his wall. The Fire Department responded. 

3:22 p.m., South Street. E911 caller asked for an ambulance at the sledding hill at South Street and Rocky Lane for a child who was unconscious after hitting head. Medfield Ambulance took the child to Beth Israel in Boston.

Sunday, Jan. 5

5:23 p.m., Wild Holly Lane. E911 caller reported two suspicious vehicles parked front of the house. They were waiting for AAA. 

6:13 p.m., Elm Street. E911 caller reported a broken water pipe. Medfield Ambulance responded.

Monday, Jan. 6

6:03 a.m., Oak Street. E911 caller said the wires in front of his house are sparking at the pole; he said the pole is starting to catch fire. Medfield Fire responded. Police said it looked like a fuse blew. NSTAR responded and fixed the problem. 

1:02 p.m., Kenney Road. Caller said he was having trouble speaking. Westwood Ambulance took him to Norwood Hospital.

4:37 p.m., North and Farm Streets. Caller reported a dog walking down North Street near Farm Street and she is afraid the dog will get hit. Animal Control was notified. 

8:45 p.m., Rocky Lane. Caller said she had a phone call and she thinks it might be a scam.
