Nervous Passenger, Train Trouble, Midnight Logs on Tracks, and More

Tuesday, August 13

12:03 a.m., station. Walk-in report of logs on the railroad tracks at Farm Street. Police removed the logs and notified the highway department. 

12:10 a.m., South Street. Traffic enforcement. One verbal warning issued.

8:30 a.m., Donnelly Drive. Caller said there was a contractor in front of his house digging up his lawn by the edge of the street. Police determined the man was a contractor who had a permit to do the work. 

10:21 a.m., Haven Road. Walk-in report of a dog stolen by an ex-girlfriend. Walk-in report of his son's ex-girlfriend who walked into his home at 5:50 a.m. on Aug. 13, grabbed his son's dog, and walked out the door where her mother was waiting in a car. 

12:45 p.m., Snyder Road. Medfield Fire responded to a medical alarm they received, and took the woman to Norwood Hospital.

3:07 p.m., Main Street. Walk-in report of a woman who got out of a car (1986 Grand Marquis) with out-of-state plates and drove off. She said the responder looked nervous. 

9:12 p.m., Elm Street. Caller reports gun shots in the area of the power line. Police said it was all quiet. 

9:45 p.m., Cole Drive. Caller reported a car (2007 Toyota Celica) full of kids parked in front of a house that is for sale, and when they saw his car, they took off. 

11:29 p.m., Harding Street. Caller reported two cars parked on Harding Street near West Mill Street. Peace was restored.

Wednesday, August 14

8:11 a.m., North Street. Caller reported lumber in the road on North Street near Deerfield Drive. It was removed. 

9:50 a.m., Cottage Street. Caller said the railroad lights and bells are still going off. 

11:48 a.m., Hearthstone Drive. Caller said someone stole her American Flag and post, and to increase patrols if possible.

5:19 p.m., Fox Lane. E911 caller asked police to respond because her sister-in-law is walking around her house, trying to get in. Peace restored. 

9:14 p.m., Causeway Street. Caller reported some teens hanging around in the old white barn near Causeway Street. Police found three men but the fourth was later recovered. Click HERE for the full story.
