Neighbor Party Damages Lawn, Clothes Stolen from Laundromat, Motherless Birds, and More
Here's a look at the police log for July 13 and July 14.
The following information was provided by the Medfield Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.
Saturday, July 13
1:55 a.m., Frairy Street. Caller said a delivery truck stopped and picked up something at a neighbor's house. Police discovered the man was turning around because he can't make it under the bridge.
9 a.m., Spring and Curve Streets. Caller reports two men walking on Spring Street South near Curve Street, possibly drunk. Police spoke with a man and a woman. They were told to stay out of the roadway and go home.
11:32 a.m., High and South Streets. Caller reported some branches down in the northbound lane of Route 27.
11:50 a.m., Country Way. Caller said a neighbor is putting in a pool in their backyard and there is no fence around it. Homeowners are not home but police said there was no water in the pool.
12:35 p.m., Rhododendron Avenue. Caller reported damage to his lawn caused during a party last night at the neighbor's house. He will fix the damage but he wanted it noted.
3:48 p.m., Main Street. Caller said she is locked out of her house. Medfield Ambulance responded and said this is an ongoing problem with this homeowner; the door was not locked.
5:46 p.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's.
6:55 p.m., Main Street. Walk-in report from a woman who said that, within the last 15 minutes, someone stole all of her laundry from Medfield Coin Laundry.
Sunday, July 14
8:11 a.m., Spring Street. Traffic control at St. Edward's.
9:17 a.m., Main Street. Traffic control at United Church of Christ.
2:33 p.m., Country Way. Caller requested an ambulance for her son who had surgery and is now having bleeding problems. Patient taken to Norwood Hospital.
5:45 p.m., Green Street. Caller said she has four baby birds in one of her planters and no mother bird around. Animal Control responded.
5:50 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported an erratic driver in a Ford F350 pickup truck that just pulled into Shaw's plaza. Gone on arrival.
6:05 p.m., Pleasant Street. Caller said his water is brownish and tastes funny. The Water Department was notified.
6:11 p.m., Caller had an interpreter call to say her fire detectors have been going off for the last few days. Medfield Ambulance was notified.
6:27 p.m., Adams Street. E911 caller requested an ambulance for someone with trouble breathing. Patient was taken to Needham.
9:03 p.m., Frairy Street. Caller said his ex-wife is not to have any contract with their two-year-old daughter, but she came into the house and then left and is now circling the neighborhood. Police discovered a civil order from a Connecticut court.
