More Accidents, a Found Needle, and a Pedestrian Arrest

Sunday, May 5

8:39 a.m., Upham Road. Police took a report of malicious damage.

8:39 a.m., 10:45 a.m., Main Street. Traffic control.

11:47 a.m., North and Harding Streets. E911 caller reported a three-car crash at North and Harding Streets. Medfield police and fire departments responded. The Millis and Westwood ambulances also responded. Cars towed were a 2013 Volkswagon Golf and a 2003 Nissan X-Terra (NY).

3:40 p.m., West Mill Street. Off-duty special officer found a needle on West Mill Street and would liek the ambulacne to dispose of it. Medfield Ambulance was notified.

5:50 p.m., Wilkens Glen. Caller said she wants her brother's ex-girlfriend removed from her house. Police removed her. 

9:13 p.m., Sturbridge Road. E911 caller said someone was banging on her garage door. Police did not find anything.

9:56 p.m., Castle Avenue. Caller reported a suspicious vehicle (black SUV) parked in front of her house. She called back to say he left and was heading down Lowell Mason Road. Police spoke to the driver who said he was in the area looking for someone who had hit his daughter's vehicle earlier. 

10:02 p.m., Lowell Mason Road. Police noted a 1997 Pontiac Grand-Am (with a damaged rear quarter and rear door) parked in front of a house.

10:50 p.m., Harding Street. Caller reported a low-flying plane in the area of her house.

Monday, May 6 

7:13 a.m., Main and Causeway Streets. E911 caller said she was just in a minor car accident involving a 2007 Toyota Camry and a 2011 Kia UT.

9:33 a.m., Hospital Road. Walk-in report from someone who wanted to speak with an officer about as situation that took place on Hospital grounds on Saturday morning. 

9:44 a.m., Miller Street. Caller requested a funeral escort from the funeral home to St. Edwards.

10:23 a.m., North Meadows Road. A DPW worker reported a male in his mid-20s (with tattoos and a baseball cap) walking by the old landfill toward the center of town and he's having a problem walking. Police discovered there was an active warrant on the man from the New Bedford District Court. Police arrested Kenneth LaBlanc, 26, of Southgate Street in Franklin.
