Missing and Hit Dog, Kids in Dark Clothes, Restraining Order, and More

Here's a glance at the Medfield safety log for June 7 and June 8.

12:16 p.m., Millbrook Road. Caller said she locked herself out of the car with the baby in the vehicle. Police responded.

1:43 p.m., High Street. Police received a restraining order from Medway, and served it at 2:31 p.m.

1:49 p.m., North Street. Caller reported a car accident at North and Harding Streets.

8:37 p.m., Curve Street. Caller reported a vehicle parked "in a bad spot" in the area. Police said the car was parked in a driveway and not on the street. 

9:45 p.m., Main Street. Police discovered the traffic lights at Shaw's were stuck on flash. Police reset the lights to yellow flash on Main and red flash from parking lot. Central Mass Signal repaired the signal on Saturday morning at 6:53 a.m.

11:46 p.m., Harding Street. Caller reported a gray Honda Pilot drove over the island at North and Harding Streets, and is driving toward West Mill Street. Gone on arrival. No damage to the island.

Saturday, June 8

12:36 a.m., mutual aid.  Millis police requested two cars to Stonybrook for a fight in progress. Medfield responded and said it was all set.

2:59 p.m., Philip Street. Caller said he opened the dam there and to call him if there were any problems. 

3:59 p.m., Pine Street. Caller said there are cars parked on a curve of Pine Stret and it is very hard to get through. Police said there is no problem at this time.

4:22 p.m., Orchard Street. Medfield Ambulance was out with a water problem in the area.

6:45 p.m., Dale Street and North Meadows Road. Police pulled over a 2000 Honda Civic and the driver's name came up with a warrant. Police then discovered it was not the same person, they had different middle names.

7:31 p.m., North Street at Deerfield. Traffic enforcement. No citations issued.

9:34 p.m., Hospital Road. Caller reported kids wearing dark clothing standing in the middle of the road, making them hard to see. Gone on arrival.

9:57 p.m., Cross Street. Caller reported her do, a brown and white Australian Shepherd mix, was missing.

11:07 p.m., Spring Street at Curve Street. Caller reported a dog hit by a car on Route 27 near Curve Street. Animal Control and the DPW were notified.

11:39 p.m., Elm Street at Cross Street. Caller reported two men walking around the area. They told the caller they were looking for their dog. They had called the station tonight to say their dog was missing. The dog came home at 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
