Medfield Resident Arrested for Robbery

A roundup of arrests and summons reported by the Medfield Police Department.

Cherlynn C. Corbett, 23, of 377 Main St. was arrested and charged with larceny of over $250 Wednesday afternoon, according to Medfield police. 

At 12:10 p.m. the Medfield Police Department received a call from a man who reported he was robbed. The man came into the station to speak with officer James O'Neil and Detective Geary. At 1:15 p.m. Corbett was brought into station and spoke with Detective Geary. 

Bail was set at 4:31 p.m. bail was set for $40 and at 5:11 p.m. Corbett was bailed out and released.

Framingham Resident Issued Summons For Operating Unlicensed Motor Vehicle

At 12:05 a.m. Thursday, officer Daniel Pellegrini executed a motor vehicle stop on Plain and High Streets and requested a tow at the scene for an unlicensed motor vehicle operator. The 47-year-old unlicensed operator of Waverly Street, Framingham was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment (muffler) and for operation of an unlicensed motor vehicle.

Millis Resident Issued Summons for Operating Uninsured Motor Vehicle

at 8:13 p.m. Thursday, Officer Robert Flaherty performed a motor vehicle stop and issued a summons to a Millis resident for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating after revocation of registration. Officer Flaherty was informed of an erratic operator on Main Street near Friendly's and pulled the vehicle over. Requested tow after discovering operator's registration was revoked. 

16-year-old Arrested for Possession of Counterfeit Bills

A motor vehicle stop on Feb. 4 led to a juvenile arrest of a 16-year-old, who was charged with possession of counterfeit bills. 

Officer James O'Neil performed the vehicle stop at 5 p.m. at Metacomet Park on Pleasant Street and informed the desk officer that Assured Collision would be towing the vehicle and that a juvenile was under arrest and would be coming into the station. Juvenile's parents arrived to the station at 6:55 p.m. to speak with Sgt. Wilhelmi and a secret service agent. At 7:15 p.m. Sgt. Wilhelmi spoke to probation officer and he reported the juvenile could be released to parents. 

Providene, R.I. Resident Issued Summons After Motor Vehicle Accident

On Feb. 1 at 8:11 a.m., officer Larz Anderson responded to a motor vehicle accident with no personal injury on Elm Street. Officer Anderson requested two tows for vehicles and issued a summons to a 37-year-old Providence, R.I. man for an uninsured motor vehicle. 

Wellesley Woman Arrested On Operating After License Revoked Charges

On Jan. 28, a Wellesley woman was arrested in Medfield and charged with operating after license or right to operate was revoked. Officer James O'Neil performed a motor vehicle stop at 4:55 p.m. on North Street and Deerfield Road and requested Assured Collision to tow vehicle and reported the operator was under arrest. Kelly Anne Doherty, 28, of 656 Worcester St., Wellesley arrested and brought into the station, where she made bail at 6:48 p.m.

Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Conn. Man Arrested for OUI

Nicholas William Messina, 56, of 221 Towpath Ln., Cheshire, Conn. was arrested and charged on Jan. 27 for operating under the influence of liquor and and improper left turn on North Meadows Road. Officer James O'Neil performed the motor vehicle stop after Messina made an improper left turn around 9:58 p.m. At 12:47 a.m. Messina was bailed out.
