12:09 a.m. – Officer reported tree down at West Street.
1:13 a.m. – Man from Pine Grove Road called to report he and his girlfriend had an argument and she took his cell phone and left. She went to stay with a friend for the night on North Street. Officer called and told her to meet her out front with the cell phone. Officer got the cell phone and told the man he could pick it up in the morning.

2:57 a.m. – Medway Police called to report unknown male called to report a party on Adams Street in Medfield smashed a beer bottle in front of his house. Officer notified and reported nothing found.
2:11 p.m. – Officer turned in the unused drugs from residents of Medfield that turned them into the Medfield Police Station. Officer dropped them off at the Walpole Police Department.

7:08 p.m. – Caller from the Hunt Club on North Street reported a tree down across the road. Tree was removed by Ed Hinkley.
8:08 p.m. – Caller reported a car off the road on Main Street. Officer reported no personal injury and two needed to pull the car out. Assured Collision towing notified. Officer requested the Highway Department be informed the roads are getting slick.
9:23 p.m. – Caller reported a large branch down on North Street. Officer requested Tree Department. Call also came in for Nebo Street with a limb down.
10:02 p.m. – Officer removed a small tree from Main Street.
10:34 p.m. – Caller reported a large limb down at the railroad tracks on West Street.
11:01 p.m. – Tree fire reported from caller on Hillcrest Road. Box alarm sounded and Fire Department responded.
11:06 p.m. – Caller reported tree down and blocking Causeway Street.
11:11 p.m. – Caller reported tree down on Brook Street.
11:14 p.m. – Caller reported shoplifting at Seven Eleven in Walpole.
11:15 p.m. – Caller reported suspicious activity at CVS on Main Street. Man looking in the windows. Officer responded but reported gone on arrival.
11:16 p.m. – Caller reported tree down on Cedar Lane.
11:18 p.m. – Caller reported tree and wires down on North and Farm Streets.
11:29 p.m. – Caller reported a tree fire on Hillcrest Road. Box alarm struck and Fire Department responded.
11:29 p.m. – Caller reported tree down at Cheney Pond Road and Main Street.
11:35 p.m. – Many calls received about a large tree down on Garry and High Streets.
11:37 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident reported on High and Garry Streets. Assured Collision towing responded.
11:39 p.m. – Officer reported from a resident on Orchard Street a tree down across the road.
Sunday, Oct. 30:
12:27 a.m. – Report of wires down on Emerson Road. NSTAR and Medfield Fire Department notified.
12:40 a.m. – Medfield Fire Chief William Kingsbury reported tree and wires down on North Street. Officer responded and NSTAR notified.
12:43 a.m. – Report of tree or pole on fire in front of 4 Cypress St. Box alarm sounded and fire department responded.
1:05 a.m. – Report of phone wires down on Pinegrove Road. Phone company called.
1:12 a.m. – 911 call from residence on Dale Street reported a fire on a pole by the residence. Box alarm sounded and fire department responded.
1:12 a.m. – Second call of fire on pole by Dale Street residence came into the station.
1:31 a.m. – Woman from Nebo Street called to report a tree fell on her home. Officer and fire department notified.
1:34 a.m. – Caller reported a tree fell on her home on Lowell Mason Road. Officer and fire department notified.
2:10 a.m. – Report of tree and wires down on Westview Road. NSTAR and tree warden notified.
2:14 a.m. – Medfield Police Chief Robert Meaney Jr. said the police radio was on battery backup. Chief requested sergeant be called. Emergency generator was installed at radio repeater by sergeant.
2:49 a.m. – MVA Highway worker reported a tree on a car in front of 12 Onondaga Lane. Officer called owner and tree warden was notified.
3:18 a.m. – Caller from Maplewood Road reported he had a tree against his house.
4:30 a.m. – Caller from Nebo Street reported a loud noise followed by her lights going out. Officer responded and NSTAR notified. Officer reported a tree uprooted and was leaning on wires.
4:41 a.m. – Report from Rolling Lane that a tree was laying on wires. Tree Warden notified.
4:53 a.m. – Officer reported branches down all over Frairy Street.
4:56 a.m. – Officer reported trees on wires on Hearthstone Drive. NSTAR notified.
5:37 a.m. – Call from Emerson Road reported wires on fire. Emergency responders reported a wire snap. NSTAR notified.
6:06 a.m. – Man called to report his phone wires were ripped from his house on Westview Road. Phone company notified.
6:12 a.m. – Officer reported tree blocking the road on Plain Street. Tree warden notified.
6:14 a.m. – Tree warden reported tree down with wires on Pine Street and blocking the road. NSTAR and police officer notified.
6:34 a.m. – Caller reported a large tree down on Route 27 by the Walpole town line. Officer and tree warden notified.
6:47 a.m. – Woman requested assistance with a tree on some wires on her property on Forest Street.
7:40 a.m. – Officer reported a tree down in the road on Orchard Street by the bridge and also on Orchard Street at Algonquin Road. Desk officer left a message with Ed Hinkley of the tree department.
7:50 a.m. – Man from Granite Street called to report a tree came down into his driveway and he could not get out.
9:03 a.m. – Woman called from her cell phone to report a wire on a tree at the left hand turn from Hartford Street onto Main Street is smoking. Medfield Fire Department notified.
9:30 a.m. – EMT reported a utility pole on Hartford Street has an NSTAR wire into the tree and it is on fire. EMT requested a tree truck from NSTAR to take care of all the branches in the wires up and down Hartford Street. NSTAR notified.
9:34 a.m. – Man who lives on Cedar Lane came into the station to report an NSTAR pole and wires were down at Cedar Lane and Scott Road. Officer reported wires down on Cedar Lane and an NSTAR pole has come down with wires on Scott Road. NSTAR notified.
9:35 a.m. – Medfield Fire Chief William Kingsbury reported wires down on Lantern Lane. NSTAR notified.
10:45 a.m. – Woman from Stoneybrook Road called to report she had a wire down across her driveway. Officer and NSTAR notified.
10:53 a.m. – Woman called from Miller Street to report she had a tree down across her driveway. She cannot get out. Ed Hinkley notified and was enroute.
11:05 a.m. – Man called from his cell phone to report he was on Forest Road in Millis on his way to see a woman on Onondaga Lane when she called him to report it looked like someone tried to break into her house. There was a rear door with some minor damage. She locked herself in her bedroom for the time being. Sergeant and officer checked the house with the caller and spoke with the woman. There was no problem at this time.
11:23 a.m. – Wires in the tree on Pine Street and Hawthorne Drive were reported smoking. Paul Hinkley of Medfield Highway Department called to report the smoking wires and NSTAR was notified.
1:18 p.m. – Man from Granite Street called to report a branch was hanging in the trees over the road and may come down. Officer left a message for Ed Hinkley.
2:51 p.m. – Caller reported a motor vehicle accident on North Meadows Road. Officer requested Assured Collision towing. Medfield Fire Chief William Kingsbury requested a box alarm be struck and the Jaws of Life. Kingsbury requested Sherborn ambulance. Ambulances enroute to Norwood and Natick Hospitals with patients.
3:37 p.m. – NSTAR notified regarding wires down and branches on the wires on North Street.
4:10 p.m. – Man came into the station to report doors were open at the gas station on Main Street with no one around.
4:33 p.m. – Lifeline reported assist needed at an apartment in Tilden Village on Pound Street. Medfield Fire Chief William Kingsbury reported the subject was fine upon arrival.
5:30 p.m. – Individual came into the station from Main Street to report a sewer problem.
5:33 p.m. – Fire Department requested a box alarm be struck for smoke in the basement of a home on Causeway Street. Medfield Fire Chief William Kingsbury and trucks responded. Fire Department cleared the scene and said all was in order.
6:23 p.m. – Fire Department called to report they are going to Bridle Field Lane for a low battery on alarm system.
6:54 p.m. – Caller reported wires down in the street on Pine Grove Road. Fire Department notified and reported it’s a live wire. NSTAR notified.
7:37 p.m. – Caller requested the ambulance at Pine Street for a medical. Events paramedics notified and responded to the scene. Ambulance transported patient to Needham.
8:15 p.m. – Lifeline requested the fire department. Medfield Fire Chief responded and spoke to the caller.
9:06 p.m. – Subjects in the station in regards to vandalism on Robinson Road. Spoke to officer.
10:24 p.m. – A man reported a disturbance in the rear apartment of a building on Janes Ave. Officer reported no problem at the time of arrival.
10:28 p.m. – Caller reported she would like the ambulance for her mother, who may have had a stroke. Ambulance transported patient to Needham.
10:45 p.m. – Caller reported she had smoke coming from a vent in her house. Box alarm struck. All units cleared from the scene and reported there was no problem.
11:49 p.m. – Caller from Vine Brook Road reported when her power came back on there was sewage backing up and flowing from the toilet. Officer enroute to assist. Officer cleared from the scene and the homeowner would call a plumber.
Monday, Oct. 31:
3:31 a.m. – Caller reported he heard some popping outside and now there is a wire down next to his house on High Street. Emergency responders notified and would handle. Desk officer notified NSTAR. There’s also a branch on a wire near a utility pole.
6:49 a.m. – Several calls came into the station regarding a power line was hit by a truck, which did not stop on Main Street. Officer requested emergency responders to respond for a live wire. NSTAR also notified.
8:51 a.m. – Individual came into the station after boy was left at Wheelock School with no school in session today. A passerby brought him to the police station. The boy’s grandmother lives on Lowell Mason Road and was contacted. She picked the boy up.
10:29 a.m. – Man came into the station from Rolling Lane to report power was out on the street and there was a branch on the wires. NSTAR notified.
10:53 a.m. – Caller requested an assist with water in the basement of Philip Street home. Fire department was notified.
3:20 p.m. – Manager from Zebra’s Bistro on North Street called to report he had a group of skate boarders behind the building and when he asked them to leave they threw a snowball at the back door. Officer responded but the kids had left. Officer spoke to caller.
3:33 p.m. – Individual came into the station to speak to an officer about a drug law.
3:44 p.m. – Caller from Causeway Street reported he thought his wife may have taken too many of her drugs. He would like the ambulance to check her out. Ambulance transported patient to Natick Hospital.
4:15 p.m. – Caller reported she had an injured fox in her yard on Flint Locke Lane. She would like the Animal Control Officer to check it out. Animal Control notified and would handle. Fox was reportedly gone on arrival when Animal Control arrived.
4:40 p.m. – Caller reported a low branch hanging in the road on North Street past Deerfield Road. Highway Department notified.
4:45 p.m. – Alarm company reported the fire alarm going off at a residence on Hearthstone Drive. Box alarm struck and officers notified. Fire Department cleared the scene and reported the alarm was set off by the power coming back on.
7:25 p.m. – Officer issued a citation on Belknap Road after a motor vehicle stop.
11:16 p.m. – Caller reported a sparking wire outside of a Belknap Road residence. Emergency responders notified and reported there was a large branch on the wire.
Tuesday, Nov. 1:
6:57 a.m. – Driver reported a hit deer in the road in Sherborn. Sherborn Police notified.
7:21 a.m. – Caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no personal injury on South Street. Citation issued.
