Highlights from Medfield police and fire logs.

Monday, May 23:

9:26 a.m. – Caller requested an ambulance t orthopedic. Ambulance responded to North Meadows Road residence and transported patient to Natick.

11:45 a.m. – Caller from Granite Street requested ambulance for father. Ambulance responded from Natick and transported patient to hospital.

12:02 p.m. – Medfield Fire Chief William Kingsbury reported a disabled motor vehicle on Spring Street.

1:52 p.m.  – Fire alarm came in for 59 Friary St. Medfield Police Chief Robert Meaney Jr. reported it was accidentally sounded by worker.

2:36 p.m. – Medfield police department received from Dedham District Court a 209A extension. Order will now expire on May 22, 2012.

3:40 p.m. – Caller from Stagecoach Road reported a problem with a bird nest in her dryer vent. She requested to speak to the animal control officer.

7:04 p.m. – Woman from Longmeadow Road reported her GPS was missing from her car. She just noticed that it was missing and the last time she saw it was about a week ago. She wanted it logged.

Tuesday, May 24:

8:35 a.m. – Man from Colonial Road reported some time on May 23 someone hit his mailbox and wanted it noted.

9:06 a.m. – Man from Nebo Street came into the station to report a theft of money from an ATM machine in his name in Boston. Man spoke with officer Wayne Sallale and an incident report was filed.

3:57 p.m. – Man from Curve Street called to report that a section of his fence in his yard had been removed by his Neighbor on South Street. There has been an ongoing neighbor dispute between the two parties.

4:26 p.m. – Sergeant John Wilhelmi issued one citation while on traffic enforcement at Main and Pound Streets.

8:01 p.m. – Officer Larz Anderson reported a disabled motor vehicle at 101 Main St. Assured Collision towing was notified.

9:45 p.m. – Resident from Cedar Lane came into the station to speak with an officer about stalking. Officer Larz Anderson spoke with resident and requested an incident number.

Wednesday, May 25:

2:55 a.m. – Resident from Hemlock Circle called emergency 911 to report an erratic driver on Main Street headed into the center of town. Officer Christine DiNatale reported the vehicle was gone on arrival from the center of town to the Walpole line.

4:54 a.m.  –Fire alarm going off at 50 North St. Police and fire responded. Officer reported no fire was showing and all units cleared.

7:18 a.m. - Woman came into the station and spoke with officer Michelle Bento while officer Wayne Sallale and officer Larz Anderson assisted at the Lilac Lane residence with her son. Officers reported they were in the station with a juvenile under arrest. Officer Bento transported the juvenile to Dedham Juvenile Court. Juvenile, 16 years old, was charged with drug possession of Class D substance and drug possession with intent to distribute of Class D substance.

8:02 a.m. – Report of hit and run at Main Street with property damage at the exit to Precision Auto. Woman reported vehicle struck her as he exited onto Route 109 and left the scene.

9:46 a.m. – Jim Snyder of Parks and Recreation reported some time overnight someone keyed the Park and Recreation van while parked at the Phaff Center. Also he noticed that there were some signs at Metacomet Park written on. He was not sure when that happened. Officer Wayne Sallale met with him and viewed both incidents.

12:41 p.m. – Caller reported a Chevy Colbalt was tailgating her and when she pulled over to let the vehicle pass, the driver almost hit another car before taking a right onto Miller Street. Wanted it reported.

1:08 p.m. – Caller from Pleasant Street reported her husband had an appointment in Norwood at 10:15 a.m. and hadn’t returned home. She called the place where he had the appointment and they said he never made it there. The man is a diabetic. Officer Larz Anderson responded to take further information.

1:21 p.m. – Central alarm reported residential alarm going off on Saw Mill Lane. Officer Michelle Bento responded. Neighbor reports there had been some suspicious “things” happening in the neighborhood lately and requested extra patrols.

2:01 p.m. – Resident from Janes Avenue reported a dog inside a gray station wagon parked in the lot at 29 Janes Ave. Woman was concerned for dog because it was warm outside. Animal control officer checked scene but vehicle and dog were gone on arrival.

2:22 p.m. – Resident of 12 Marlyn Rd. reported turtle struck in front of his house and was still alive. Animal control officer responded.

3:34 p.m. – Woman from Elm Street called from her cell phone to request the police for assistance with a family member. Patient was transported to Norwood Hospital.

4:04 p.m. – Woman from Pleasant Street called back to report her husband and returned home and all was OK. Medfield officers were notified of the same.

4:59 p.m. – Medfield Fire Department covered Dover Fire Department while Dover was out.

6:45 p.m. – Resident from John Crowder Road came into the station to speak with an officer about a case of credit card fraud. Officer Larz Anderson spoke with the resident. Report was filed.

11:32 p.m. – Caller reported from Green Street a large amount of water coming from somewhere on Green Street. Officer notified and officer Daniel Pellegrini reported the water was coming from 20 Green St. Officer rang doorbell of residence but no one answered. Officer reported the hose was left on and he shut it off.

Thursday, May 26:

12:55 p.m. – Officer James O’Neil reported he was out with a motor vehicle stop on South Street at the rear parking lot of Lord’s Department Store. Sergeant Wilhelmi reported he was out with officer O’Neil. Summons was issued to 35-year-old Framingham resident for speeding violation (special regulation) and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle.

4:15 p.m. – Officer James O’Neil reported he had one under arrest after a motor vehicle stop on Main and Miller Streets. Operator Nicolea Toca, 28, of Hope, R.I. was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

4:58 p.m. – Woman called to request an officer at Pound Street residence for her husband, who was intoxicated. Officer James Flaherty requested an ambulance to respond for voluntary commitment.

6:03 p.m.  –Sergeant from Franklin Police called to request two summons be served at Joseph Pace Road. He will fax them over.

11:45 p.m. – Caller reported a lot of yelling coming from the apartment above her at Wilkens Glen Road and she had no idea what the apartment number was or the names of the tenants. Officers responded and reported a minor argument between boyfriend and girlfriend. Incident report was filed.

Friday, May 27:

12:37 a.m. – Millis Police reported they would like Medfield’s ambulance to respond to their town. Ambulance needed at Village and Pleasant Streets. Ambulance was then enroute to Norwood Hospital with patient.

6:53 a.m. – Woman from Tubwreck Drive called emergency 911 to request an ambulance for her husband. She said her husband fell down the stairs and injured his knee. Ambulance transported patient to Norwood Hospital.

10:36 a.m. – Man came into station to report the front door to 25 Hospital Rd. was open and no one was around. Officer Grover and officer Bento checked the vacant building and secured the front door the best they could.

4:09 p.m. – Officer O’Neil reported lights going off on the railroad crossing at Cottage Street. Nothing on the tracks. CSX notified.

6:32 p.m. – Lifeline requested an ambulance for a resident on Colonial Road. Patient refused transport.

6:48 p.m. – Officer Pellegrini reported a disabled motor vehicle would remain on Main Street for a tow. Officer transported one to Woodridge Road.

8:35 p.m. – Officer James O’Neil was out with a motor vehicle at the railroad tracks at Hospital Road. Officer O’Neil transported to juveniles to the station and contacted the parents.

Saturday, May 28:

12:25 a.m. – Caller from Oriole Road reported two cars parked in front of a residence on Oriole Road and banging noises being heard. Officers responded but found nothing.

6:14 a.m. – Caller reported there was a golf cart driving down Route 109 – East bound. Officer responded but reported gone on arrival.

10:41 a.m. – Caller at Ralph Wheelock School on Elm Street requested assistance with a verbal altercation between drivers in ice cream trucks. Two trucks in the same location. Officer reported trucks are separating from the same area.

12:25 p.m. – Caller reported an open window at the library. Contact notified and she will close the window.

1:25 p.m. – Caller at North Meadows Road reported a car just hit a girl on a bike. Ambulance responded but girl refused transport. Medfield Fire Chief William Kingsbury reported girl was dropped off at Powderhouse Road residence.

4:55 p.m. – Woman came into the station to speak to an officer regarding fraud on a debit credit card. Officer Cave spoke to woman.

7:05 p.m. – Individual came into station to report a hit and run accident in the Shaw’s parking lot at 4:30 p.m. Suspect was driving a gray Honda Accord and was reportedly an elderly operator. Sergeant John Mayer investigating.

9:48 p.m. – Caller reported he would like an ambulance for his mother at Curve Street, who is not feeling well. Ambulance transported patient to Norwood Hospital.

9:54 p.m. – Two calls about a loud crash on Route 27 and South Street came into the station. Officers were out on Route 27 and Maple Street with one operator involved in crash. Assured Collision towing was notified and responded to the scene. One driver was taken to 9 Baker Rd., a friend’s house. The other operator, a 19-year-old Coventry, R.I. resident, was arrested and charged with leaving the accident scene after property damage.

10:59 p.m. – Caller reported loud music in the area. The music was coming from Spring Fest at the McCarthy Field on Hospital Road.

Sunday, May 29:

12:37 a.m. – Officer reported he was out on Route 27 and Dale Street with a motor vehicle and the operator has no license. Assured Collision towing notified. Summons issued to 32-year-old Framingham resident for failing to dim lights and unlicensed operation of motor vehicle.

8:15 a.m. – Caller requested ambulance to soccer field at Wheelock School for possible broken wrist. Patient was transported to Norwood Hospital.

4:51 p.m. – Cell caller reported she had an injured player at Wheelcok School, a possible spine injury. Ambulance responded and transported patient to Norwood Hospital.

5:19 p.m.  –Subject came into the station to report heavy equipment doing work on Spruce Way. Officer reported those doing work will stop.

6:42 p.m. – Off duty officer Bento reported two kids trying to get on the roof of the Dale Street School. Officer notified. Officer spoke to two kids from Grove Street, who told him they were not trying to get on the roof.

Monday, May 30:

12:11 a.m. – Caller from 59 Friary St. reported a disturbance. Youths running around making a lot of noise. Sergeant Lorna Fabbo reported peace was restored.

8:04 a.m. – Ambulance reported it will be responding to Harding Street for possible stroke. Ambulance was enroute with patient to Metro West Natick.

10:20 a.m. – Fire car reported they had an individual passed out on Main Street at the Noon Hill Grill. No transport needed to hospital.

10:49 a.m. – Individual from Turtle Brook way was in the station to report the people at Dale Street are parking their cars across from their house on the lawn, which private property. There is also a sprinkler system where the cars are parked. Officer responded and spoke to the owner, who will move the car.

1:11 p.m. – Caller reported a dog inside a gray Dodge Caravan with New York plates. Officer reported the windows are open and there is water on the floor, all looks OK.

4:33 p.m. – Woman from North Street called to repot she just spoke with animal control officer Jennifer Shaw over the pone about a problem she had with a raccoon that is in her tree. Officer Shaw is enroute to remove raccoon. Officer Shaw reported she had no luck in shooting the raccoon and that the raccoon was too high in the tree to hit.

10:03 p.m. – Individual from Carmen Circle reported very loud music somewhere in the area of Elm Street. Officer Stephen Grover reported he was out with a very large party on elm Street by Wheelock School. Officer spoke with home owner and they will turn down the music.
