Medfield Police Logs, Dec. 5 to Dec. 12: Assault & Battery, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Bike Stolen from Marshalls Employee, and Disoriented Drivers

Highlights from Medfield police and fire logs.

Monday, Dec. 5

7:13 a.m. - Motor vehicle accident with personal injury on West Street near the American Legion.

6:03 p.m. - Caller reported a white Ford pickup "all over the road" on Hospital Road.  Gone on arrival.

Tuesday, Dec. 6

11:58 a.m. - Court ordered arrest of a South Street resident for a medical condition.  No further information available.

1:52 p.m. - Employee from Marshalls reported his blue bicycle was stolen while he was at work.

2:40 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident with property damage at Metacomet and South Streets.

3:31 p.m. - Family disturbance on Adams Street.  Caller reported his brother and father were fighting.  Caller said "My brother is being really dumb."

Wednesday, Dec. 7

5:02 p.m. - Well being check on South Street.

7:37 p.m. - Dover Police requested a Medfield cruiser to meet on Main Street near Lovell's to guide an elderly couple, who had gotten lost trying to find their way home, to their house on Ledgetree. 

Thursday, Dec. 8

10:27 a.m. - Assisted with an CO alarm on Onondaga Lane.

12:59 p.m. - Motor vehicle stop.  Female driver, of South Street in Marlborough, was charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and defective equipment (p/s break light).

7:15 p.m. - Investigated suspicious activity on Hillcrest Road after a caller reported a man with a flashlight walking around the exterior of a vacant house.  Police discovered the man was with a realty firm getting the house ready for sale.

Friday, Dec. 9

8:28 a.m. - Investigated a report of a missing child on Donnelly Drive after parent reported the child may have gotten on a Dover school bus instead of her Medfield bus.  The girl was found on the Dover bus; that bus driver dropped her off at her school. 

Saturday, Dec. 10

9:20 a.m. - Police assisted a Remsen Avenue man who had an issue with his father-in-law who was visiting from Michigan.

11:11 a.m. - Westwood police notifed Medfield police that a couple had been fighting in a car in the Bubbling Brook parking lot and they might be heading to Medfield.  They were not located.

6:07 p.m. - Manager from Zebra's restaurant reported that a man (who was dining with two young children) had had too much to drink while he was there.  Police spoke with the man and reported there was no problem.

Sunday, Dec. 11

10:52 a.m. - A Brook Street woman called to say she had an injured owl at the base of her pine tree.  Animal Control was notified.

9:22 p.m. - A 911 caller reported she was "not happy" with her parents.  Police spoke to the subject's mother who said that all was well.  Police told her an officer would be by to verify.  Police reported that all was okay.

Monday, Dec. 12

9 a.m. approximately - A Pine Street caller said her husband had pushed her out of their office.  Police responded and arrested the woman and charged her with domestic assault and battery.  The police officer hit his head while booking the prisoner.
