What is "to wit kill"? I googled it and couldn't come up with anything - I'm sincerely confused as to whether that's a legal term or there were a few missing words.

Dictionary.com defines "To wit" as -- that is to say; namely. Example: It was the time of the vernal equinox, to wit, the beginning of spring. I hope that helps.
